Executive-Level Academic Rigor and Real-World Application
Having completed advanced doctoral studies at Anaheim University, I can speak directly to the institutional calibre and structural design of their programs. Anaheim excels in delivering rigorous, research-driven coursework coupled with the schedule flexibility essential for working executives, researchers, and global entrepreneurs.
The faculty brings genuine international domain expertise, and the interactive online seminar architecture facilitates high-signal discourse across diverse, cross-border cohorts. The administrative leadership—specifically under Dean Dr Robert Robertson—remains consistently communicative, professional, and invested in alumni integration.
A solid academic institution for professionals seeking demanding, globally accessible graduate and postgraduate study.

[Completion Date] May 2012 (Global MBA)
Although it was a challenge to pursue this degree while working, it was overall a highly rewarding experience. I have summarized the pros and cons below in the hope that it will be helpful to those considering enrollment.
# Pros
1. Studying in English while working: Being able to study for an MBA entirely in English while continuing your professional career is a massive advantage.
2. Outstanding cost performance: Compared to traditional on-campus schools, the tuition is significantly more affordable.
3. A clearer understanding of an MBA: Naturally, the vague question of "What exactly is an MBA?" was completely resolved through this systematic learning process.
4. Gaining confidence: It was by no means an easy journey, but the hard work required to graduate has translated into a solid sense of self-confidence.
# Cons
1. Demanding schedule: The curriculum has almost no breaks. Studying continuously for 60 weeks was much harder than I had imagined.
2. Balancing work and making time: My weekends were entirely consumed by writing reports. Consequently, time for socializing and seeing friends inevitably had to be sacrificed.
# Conclusion
Between juggling my job and the packed schedule, there were many times when I felt like giving up. The reason I was able to make it to the very end was thanks to the support and mutual encouragement from my fellow cohort members. If you have the resolve to push through the hardships, this is a fantastic program that yields substantial returns and personal growth well worth the effort.

Deeply Grateful
At the age of 46 I returned to school to get an MBA from Anaheim. One of the smartest things I ever did. Short term the discussions and interactions with other bright and experienced students enhanced my learning and was very engaging. Medium term it opened the doors to new professional opportunities. I moved from regular teaching to seminars, universities and special programs. My income, work enjoyment and sense of doing something that makes a difference all rose dramatically. Finally long term. While still very actively teaching, I am now in my 60's and naturally look back. We only regret what we do not attempt. Deep inside I knew I had it in me to expand my education and work goals. Anaheim gave me the opportunity to do so and I am sincerely and deeply grateful to them.

graduated from the Doctor of Education…
I graduated from the Doctor of Education in TESOL program in 2024. I always valued the unique opportunity to learn from internationally recognized scholars in the field and to engage in course work with leading experts whose work I had read and admired long before joining the program.
As a full-time educator and mother, the online format allowed me to complete the program in a way that makes success possible for working professionals.
I wholeheartedly recommend Anaheim University to anyone considering an online doctoral program. I am grateful for the knowledge, mentorship, friendships, and opportunities that came from being part of this program

Humanism and Integrative Art in a Global Context
When I entered the MFA program at Anaheim University’s Akira Kurosawa School of Digital Filmmaking, I already held a PhD, a Doctor of Science degree, an MD, and a law degree with honours. I had also taught at a medical university. So I have personal learning and teaching experience in different academic institutions.
What I found at Anaheim University was not only a film-making program, but a serious humanistic approach to cinema and education.
I found teachers, learned from them, and the experience became something truly meaningful.
Professor Ken Goin’s screenwriting course, through drama, character, conflict, and the hero’s journey, helped me understand not only storytelling, but also many things about business, work, and people. It helps me every day, not only in art. He gave personal attention to every student, including weekly one-on-one time, not because he had to, but because he genuinely wanted students to learn. He later became my thesis mentor.
I am also grateful to Professor Rafael Rafael, who taught film theory, global context and international film business with clarity and through examples. He is also deeply involved in helping people with disabilities, which resonates with my life mission, and his humanistic attitude was present in his teaching. During a difficult moment in my studies, he supported me personally and helped me continue.
Professor David Desser gave us a strong foundation in film history, aesthetics, and a broader understanding of cinema and art philosophy. I deeply respect his knowledge and wisdom. He taught us to think and to see.
I also remember Alison Marek, who taught with great energy and helped me look at the world with wide-open eyes. With Ryan McKinney, I made my first award-winning short film, created to inspire children to work toward achieving their kind dreams.
After graduation, David Bracey continues to stay in touch and support graduates with their careers, which means a lot.
I know it is not common to list people in a review, but in this case I think it matters.
A film school is not only about learning how to make something look modern or nice. There are many online courses for that. It is about the Greek understanding of beauty, when you have a moment of insight and truth through a piece of art or the journey of creation.
At this school, I learned to ask not only “how do we make it?” but also “why do we make it?”
For me, Anaheim University’s Akira Kurosawa School carries an important part of Kurosawa’s legacy: humanism, discipline, and innovation.
In a time of rapid change, including AI, that humanistic foundation feels especially timely.
I am grateful for this education and for the people who made it meaningful. It is with me every day and every hour.
Now I am running my own business related to tremor and Parkinson’s non-invasive MRgFUS neurosurgery (tremor.care), which is built on humanistic values and serves people. Many of its values and ideas were shaped while I was studying there.
Thank you, my teachers

Anaheim U.- A Great Professional Development Experience!
I will always be grateful to Anaheim University. Not only is its TESOL doctorate education outstanding (in terms of both faculty and curriculum) and extremely affordable, but the flexibility in its teaching and learning through its online Moodle enabled me to pursue my studies while continuing to work.Anaheim U. also gave me a lot of real-world professional development experience. For example, it gave me an opportunity to assist with teaching a TESOL graduate course after graduation. Also, it gave me access to a well-seasoned TESOL research community who have helped me to publish research. Again, thank you so much!!

Anaheim University for SLA Professionals
My experience taking a graduate degree in TESOL at Anaheim University was the highlight of my academic career. I felt so privileged to learn from the best in the field of second language acquisition. My professors challenged and supported me, and they continue to be a professional resource long after graduation. Some of my favorite memories of Anaheim are from the residentials, where we met our professors and classmates, collaborated in valuable study groups, and shared wonderful social time. Anaheim's culture of academic rigor and professionalism, together with its professor accessibility, make it my most valuable post-secondary institution.

Studying for my DBA program was a nice…
Studying for my DBA program was a nice and great experience because of the wonderful online learning environment, the renowned professors and supportive non teaching staff who go at length to ensure one has achieved his/her academic goals. The tuition is great and the fees so affordable. I would recommend any prospective students to make Anaheim University their first choice in deciding to study. Dr.Mensah
