Beach Therapy ®️Reviews of beachtherapy.com

I started my Maui vacation off with a virtual Orange (Calm) Beach Therapy session with Justin. (Spoiler Alert - It was AMAZING!) I thought Orange/Calm was appropriate considering I have two small boys that visited the ER 3 times that month, I run 3 companies, we are in the middle of trying to sell our house, I’m planning a reunion, and close family members have been ill. The Maui vacation couldn’t have come at a worst time; the Maui vacation couldn’t have come at a BETTER time. Justin was excellent in his communication prior to the session. I felt prepared for our virtual session, and he dialed in on time. I immediately liked Justin and felt comfortable telling him all about why I needed Calm in my life (it look some time). He listened attentively and asked prompting questions throughout the session. I especially appreciated when he asked how I preferred the session to be run. He clearly was prepared with a plan, but I could see his mind adjusting that plan for MY benefit. That was awesome! I like knowing why I am doing things (Type A controller here) so was pleasantly surprised when learning how much of the session was science based. It made sense and backed up what my doctors had been telling me — but was coming from another angle. It came with the goal of receiving the gift of calm. I don’t want to spoil the surprise on how we got there, but after the session I definitely felt relaxed — like I had just received a massage. I had a page full of notes on how to continue the Beach Therapy at home and was excited to continue it during my vacation. Since the session, Justin has proactively followed up asking how he can continue to support for quest for calm. One session can change your life! I’ve been continuing my practice at home, especially when I need a “mommy time out.” I can’t wait to try other colors and continue to grow. Mahalo for everything, Justin!! I will definitely recommend you to friends and family.

I can’t really express sufficiently what a kind, empathetic, and caring person Justin is. He was my trainer when I did my CBT qualification. Various people left the course, which I felt upset about, and Justin ensured I continued to feel included in the group. He was the person on the course who tried to teach us about the importance of self-reflection and something more than just how to be a manualised therapist – Justin doesn’t see people as manualised or a diagnosis, he sees people. I would recommend Justin for beach therapy to anyone, including my friends and family.

I had the pleasure of working with Justin for seven online meetings of Beach Therapy during which time I learned to develop my Rainbow Self & grow my Beachfulness : ). I signed up to work with him as I was stuck in a rut & wanted to try something totally different, that would be tailored exactly to me & my specific needs. I found our sessions to be eye-opening, life changing & surprisingly fun too! Before speaking to Justin, I was slightly hesitant about the idea of working with a man. After speaking to him by video call (we used Zoom), he immediately put my mind & heart at ease & I trusted him from the very beginning. Justin is a gentle soul. To be honest, I was also a bit skeptical of having Beach Therapy Online through Video, but after the first session, I was hooked by both the approach of Beach Therapy as well as the medium of Video sessions. As a Mom with a young toddler, I loved the convenience of not having to travel for sessions. This was a huge relief for me. The strategies that Justin shared with me, especially those involving the use of colors that had particular meaning for me, helped me to prioritize what was most important to me in my life. During every session, I felt fully listened to & understood. Even more importantly, I noticed that my life began to change right away. I believe this is due to Justin's considerable professional skills & experience. Prior to creating Beach Therapy, Justin worked for many years as a Mental Health Therapist & Life Coach & it really showed. As an experienced clinician myself, who also employs an evidence based & applied neuroscience approach, I felt confident in his skills & his knowledge. In our meetings he shared with me many practical & easily implementable tools, which I know helped create lasting change in my life. I have worked with several therapists and coaches over the years, and never before have I learned & laughed so much in so little time. I have made several important changes in my life as a result of working with Justin and have benefited greatly from Beach Therapy. as well as from Justin's gentle guidance. He was very collaborative throughout & I loved how he was able to tailor the sessions to exactly what I needed at the time. I always felt like he had my best interests at heart. In a nutshell, Justin is incredibly warm, friendly & super encouraging. I highly recommend Beach Therapy & Justin to anyone seeking to make significant changes in their lives (and who isn't?) that stick, in as short a period of time as possible. I will definitely consult him again & I hope the next time will be on an actual Beach! Gianna De Salvo August 2018
