Pursued the truth
Stephanie's experience seem genuine; and sincere. I liked seeing her battle her memories as she pursued the truth. The mystery played out nicely.

The difficulty of solving the mystery appealed to me. every hint caused me to reconsider my presumptions. up until the last chapters it kept the story engaging.

The author's ability to create Realistic characters rather than flawless main characters was what I valued most. every moment has greater value because of their personal problems. with patience and confidence the mystery grew. I became totally engrossed in the narrative. It was captivating from start to finish.

Stephanie's hardships were real and I was able to relate with her very immediately. The mansions surroundings gave the narrative a great deal of suspense. nothing seemed hurried or impractical. I was eager to continue reading.
