Ordered and paid for my wine one week…
Ordered and paid for my wine one week ago Monday. Told them I needed it 100% by Friday and reminded them it was going to snow. I still have not received the wine.

Charging nearly 20 dollars for shipping without any warning is deplorable. Will not be ordering again. Shipping needs to be agreed upon beforehand. Worst possible way to run a company. Broke student as is, now an extra 20 gone after spending over 50? Terrible.

Not Tell The Truth about Bottle Condition in website...

Very disappointed! Will never order from this site again!
Response from Cellaraiders· Mar 15, 2016
You ordered one bottle of 2008 Vineyard 29 Cabernet Franc. What part of that is French and what part of that is 3 bottles? You placed the order yourself on the website so any mistakes were made entirely by you.

Cellaraiders had a good selection of wines I was looking at for a good price so it seemed like a good fit. They were easy to work with but the first problem I had with them is they tell you that the company will get a hold of you regarding shipping charges. That is actually not the case as they billed me for shipping on UPS which i didn't want and never contacted me on any options. I had to call to change the shipping co. and they never bothered to send any tracking info afterwards. The second problem I had with them is they never had any interest in warning me that where they were sending wine from a place that had freezing temperatures. I live in California so I had no idea where these people were located and their weather situation. Well two of the wines arrived with popped out corks and when I called them about it they said to send pictures. They then emailed me later that they doesn't know what to say but to drink them quickly at this point. He then said it was my fault for not holding the wine even though there is no notice on the website stating this as an option. To send out 100 dollar wines like this and then blame the customer for the mistake is in my mind a company I would not recommend anyone due business with.

Ron 1- billed you for shipping charges on UPS but you wanted Fedex so I absorbed the higher charges as I do very little business with Fedex, so I have no negotiated rates with them, and shipped with Fedex as per your instructions. 2- your email address was plugged into the Fedex site and they automatically send you an email once they scan your package. I suggest you check your spam folder as that is where these messages usually end up. That being said you could have called or emailed me and requested this information. 3- you told me to go ahead and ship your wine. You never mentioned you wanted me to hold the wine here, which I not only would have done, but do for literally hundreds of orders during winter and summer months, at no charge I might add. 4- You not knowing where Cellaraiders is located, is really something I would think you would check out BEFORE ordering. Certainly afterwards, you could have asked. I do answer the phone and reply to emails more or less immediately. I will let my client base decide who is to blame here. I am certainly comfortable with that. regards Ben

Not sure whether it is a fake or real!

Reddy You bought a 1990 Conterno Fantino Sori Ginestra and a 1990 Lagrange. These wines retail for 159 and 119 respectively. No one is counterfeiting wines of this value. Its not worth anyones time to do that. I wonder if you have ever tasted either of these wines before? Properly stored both these wines should have life ahead of them. Think about why anyone would go to the trouble of counterfeiting low value wines. Petrus, DRC, etc, wines of this value are being counterfeited unfortunately. regards Ben
