I walked in riddled with anxiety, and walked out 100% zen. This was my first sound bath, and I felt safe & supported throughout. So healing -- thanks Charlie!!

I was lucky enough to experience my 2nd sound bath with Charlie Short last night during the full moon and mercury going into retrograde. There were a lot of emotions in the room but the sound balanced it all out beautifully. I was able to have my eyes open this time, and was able to witness his magic, which was indescribable. The level and knowledge of expertise in sound that Charlie embodies is so evident in the quality of the sound he produces. Though sound production is not my area of expertise, the beauty of certain frequencies resonate with me deeply and I know good sound when I hear it! Charlie's sound bath is graceful, gentle, smooth, and very warming. Charlie as a sound practitioner has extensive knowledge, is extremely professional, transparent and authentic, very charming, funny and likeable. To me, it is important to like and trust your practitioner when we are in healing spaces working with energy. From the esthetics to the subtle transitions of various instruments, the experience was like a beautiful dream. The lighting was colorful, warm and inviting. The bath itself was a collaboration of various instruments that all worked together gently and harmoniously. It had a sound that was unique, stylish, deeply healing, and one of a kind. It basically is Charlie in sound form which is so cool lol ❤️ I have been using sound baths to heal my cancer, and I plan to go back to Charlie's sound baths over and over again! He has over 10 events every month, blessing Portland with beautiful frequencies. Show some love to Charlie and check out one of his many offerings. Highly highly recommended :)

Wow! I randomly met Charlie at an ice cream shop and had my first Sound bath two days later. I had no idea what to expect. I am beginning a new chapter of my life as we speak. It’s not easy to relax. Also, I am very Type A and fidgety and find it difficult to sit still. I had plenty of room on the large blanket to wiggle. Charlie was very accommodating to get me comfortable. The guided relaxation was amazing. When my mind wandered, I brought it back to the sounds and relaxation techniques. Originally, I booked a 1 hour with the option to add on 30 minutes. At the end of one hour, I requested a second hour. I definitely felt major relaxation. It felt like I had just had a massage with an amazing musical performance. I’ll see you again, Charlie

What a truly wonderful, immersive experience. I am a pretty open-minded guy, but nothing prepared me for such a deep relaxing & soothing adventure of the senses. I found myself spirited away, causing me to let go of all that had stressed me out. Even deeply held physical tension in my core, I had for years began to crumble and dissipate. As I could actually physically feel the sound waves, move and pass through my body. I am definitely hooked. I left the session feeling deeply relaxed, at peace and happy. I was a total marshmallow-man. Charlie is a very talented & gifted intuitive. His calm, warm, caring personality & professionalism made me feel relaxed and safe.
