The cPanel / WHM VPS hosting is surprisingly fast and we like cPanel's free AutoSSL's, though we also use Comodo SSLs. The domain names are consistently less expensive than GoDaddy's (or anyone we've found, for that matter) and transferring domains away is not an issue as it is with some registrars. They have fairly knowledgeable 24x7 tech support worldwide.
