This is a puppy mill
This is a puppy mill, mass breeding operation, make no mistakes about it, no matter how they sugar coat it. Transport is done inhumanely, and while I tried to cancel our order once I experienced their terrible customer service, my wife wanted to keep go through with it. With a clear conscious, go elsewhere. The poor pictures of the Mother of the puppies looks loke an abused animal.
Response from Crockett Doodles· Oct 13, 2026
We’re sorry this customer was dissatisfied with his experience. For those considering Crockett Doodles, we would like to clarify a few points. Crockett Doodles began over 14 years ago and has grown into a community of families raising puppies. These families are fully vetted, follow our strict care standards for both puppies and parent dogs, and undergo regular inspections. All parent dogs are genetically tested, and puppies receive a vet check before adoption, along with age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. During ground delivery, puppies travel in crates for protection, with stops every four to five hours for potty breaks, stretching, food, water, and individual checks. Drivers remain with the puppies during overnight rest stops so they are attended while the driver gets necessary sleep. Our drivers do a wonderful job caring for the puppies and communicating with the customers during transport. Our deposit is refundable before a family commits to and reserves a specific puppy. Once a puppy is reserved, the deposit becomes nonrefundable. This policy is disclosed before matching so families can make an informed decision. Our team remains available to provide support after adoption. We take animal welfare concerns very seriously and stand by the care provided to this puppy and its mother. Crockett Doodles also maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau
