Great product, helps me save and gives me bonuses!

I have been exploring alternatives to bank saving accounts that pay less than .05% yearly interest. Prize pool pays an interest of 0.3% which is pretty good compared to traditional banks. But it also has weekly drawings that incentivize savings. For every dollar in your balance, you get a ticket to the weekly drawing. Most weeks, you can win anywhere from 25 cents to $500, with a monthly grand prize of $25,000. So the rate can be much higher depending on the prize you win. Unlike Yotta, you can only win one time per week, so there is a point where adding more money would not improve your rate of return. This is good so that whales can't always get all the prize money, but I would only put up to $5000 in this account. For the rest, there are better interest paying accounts out there, especially if you are willing to get into Crypto. That said, the support is very responsive and withdrawing funds takes around 3 business days. Overall, I think its a great product for people just starting to save, but people with larger balances have better alternatives to earning consistent interest.

Great app! Love the idea of it, and it's fun to see how much you win each week/month, also love that there is a minimum interest rate now as well, but I'm doing much better than that so far.

Prizepool is a great alternative to traditional savings account. The return is so much better at no risk. And it’s FDIC insured!
