Too expensive. Not enough matches

The quality of the matches varied. I provide meaningful feedback after every date to help refine the search efforts. However, sometimes I wonder if team members talk with each other when considering other matches. For example, there were a few matches which clearly didn't match the critical criteria parameters yet I would be matched anyway. I dealt with a number of different Matchmakers and I felt that hurt the overall refinement process with consistency.

Current matchmaker appears to listen to me and honor my preferences. Previous matchmaker sent me on dates that were a waste of time. I started listening to my gut and saying no to matches that aren’t what I am looking for. I found that every profile that they sent over had very out of date pictures of the proposed match. I really don’t have time for dating sites and thought this would be an efficient way to meet new people. But IJL seems to have rather limited active client list that matches up with my criteria and they tend to dig up inactive clients. Hence the dated profile pics.

The Restaurant, food and service top knotch. Quality of gentleman was a 10. Courteous, generous with providing time to get to know each other and paying for my meal was a plus. I liked that it didn’t feel rushed and that the person was thoughtful as well as present. Willing to share at any level presented and open with honest answers to my questions. We laughed and smiled.😉

It took over a month to get a first date which was a little frustrating. I’m trying to be patient with the process but I’m a little skeptical.

I have used this service in the past, however this time, I have to always reach out to see where my next date is. This is new as my other matchmakers always reached out to me - ALWAYS. I do not have time for this and have paid good money to have you do it for me. Otherwise, I would just use a cheaper, on-line dating app.

My first match maker was amazing. She listened to the feedback and I believe tried to adjust accordingly. I paused membership because I had a potential long-term match. It didn't work out so I came back. My new matchmaker assigned to me upon my return never responded to me and refused to arrange a time to speak. It felt like the matchmaker was some AI bot or something, because they wouldn't respond to what I was asking. I then got a new matchmaker, who will respond to me, but doesn't seem to listen when I provide feedback. My feedback is noted, but not validated. So it is just a waste of breath at this point. I have had some good dates, but all the best ones were under my first matchmaker. The rest have been very blah.
