There are multiple items in the contract that were either completed incorrectly or not completed at all. Justin stated that he primarily works from his office and uses subcontractors to perform the work. However, he was rarely present at the property to supervise or oversee the work being performed. As a result, much of the work was completed poorly and below expected standards. I am now required to pay for repairs to correct the defective work, as well as hire another contractor to complete the unfinished portions of the project.

They expanced and remodeled the master bathroom plus added a double vanity and luxury rain shower with multiple shower heads that feels like a private mountain spa. In the kitchen, Justin suggested live-edge countertops that kept a handcrafted feel and the specialty finishing work which full of character, refinished floors, warm natural tones, and trim that looked original but new again. They built custom bunk beds for my kids which guests absolutely love and adds real value for short-term rentals. They installed some smart home features and cameras that help me manage and keep an eye on the cabin from a distance. They also did some landscaping work and installed landscape lighting that brings out the natural beauty of the forest around the cabin at night. It feels magical! My kids are thrilled and the cabin started booking almost immediately! Guests constantly comment on how it feels both cozy and modern with just the right mix of old and new. Since then, I’ve had JIT back several times for small projects and quick repairs between guest stays. They’re always fast, dependable, and incredibly kind which means so much when the cabin’s only vacant for a day or just a few hours at a time. They’ve also provided cleaning services for me a few times when I’ve been in a pinch. After being burned before, finding someone as honest, creative, and communicative as Justin was such a relief. JIT wasn’t the cheapest option but I’m so glad I chose them! His team brought our cabin back to life and helped blend family history with modern comfort in a way my grandparents would be proud of!

The inspector found water damage around the toilet in our master bathroom, soft subflooring, and even issues in the crawlspace missing supports, signs of old rodent activity, and a few structural concerns that made our buyers very nervous. Our agent said it all had to be fixed fast, or the deal could fall apart. I remember that sinking feeling in my stomach. All throughout, the team was respectful, communicative, and sent progress photos so we didn’t have to crawl under the house. For the first time since that inspection report, I felt like everything was under control. When they finished, the results were unbelievable. The follow-up inspection passed without a single issue, our buyers were thrilled, and we closed on time! JIT didn’t just repair our home, they restored our peace of mind.
