I spoke to representative about solar…
I spoke to representative about solar panel option and he reassured me that tax credit still applies even though i told him that I heard that credit has expired. I looked deeper into this issue and contacted him back saying that indeed tax credit has expired. Then he got back to me and confirmed that yes, it expired if it for residential use but they still have a way to get this credit through some commercial use option. So he was not honest from the beginning, which was a red flag. Then I looked into price. H2 solar charges over a 100K for panels and then with 30% tax credit it was quoted that price drops to around 56K. Ask yourself, why do you need to go through tax credit etc if other solar companies in the area have start price of around 41K for the same set up and with all the credits and discounts that you can apply- price drops further to around 26K. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They overprice their product by 50K, get this money from you in a form of tax credit and then have you pay them every month for the rest of your life.
