Excellent in all aspects but one. The appraisal through a One Reverse contractor treated our house as a commodity rather than the one-of-kind antique and well cared for property it is. Our city is a patchwork of small neighborhoods with widely varying values in close proximity. Our appraisal lumped us with inappropriate comparables. However, the representatives we dealt with offered such excellent communications and willingness to make the best deal possible, that we are still very pleased with our outcome.

The representatives working with me were very professional, very respectable, very informative, and very helpful.

Tiffany Davis and Melanie gave us info that did not (NOT ) agree. Following Tiffany 's info on the release of funds , we made solemn promises to several of the creditors who we are trying to pay off. We find out on the weekend a very different date of release . This makes us look untrustworthy and liars. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER. I am very very mad about being made to look a lying cheat. Diane

My case was a bit unusual and I believe this was source of friction. I believe the staff are very well trained to work with the usual and are able to do an excellent job. I also believe that he staff are probably 'mentally confined' to the usual set of circumstances and that they have difficulty adjusting to the unusual. Overall, a period of around 4 months to complete the process was too long.

Really appreciate the effort one reverse mortgage put towards my mothers loan. They made each step easy and clear. They really stepped up to win our business and remained curious and understanding as we negotiated with there competitors. They exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this company.
