PetflowReviews of petflow.com

The dog's food came quickly, but the prices ended up being comparable to everyone else only after scouring for promo codes. My biggest concern was free shipping and comparable prices, so it worked out ok in the end. Just wish I could have gotten a bit of an actual sale with a promo code.

I bought a LED light up harness for my 30 pound dog. The first one was a Med, got it, and there is no way it would ever fit her, more like a 3 pound chihuahua. So I e-mailed PetFlow, and they sent me out the size Large no questions asked. Just got it, and its so small! Not only will it not fit, but I cant even figure out how to put it on her.. its a wierd wierd design. There were no instructions, and there was no photo of it on a dog on the site. Very dissapointed in this product. However PF customer service was great.. now I have 2 worthless harnesses.. I'd dontate them, but who knows how to put them on!

The bully sticke smelled really bad. My dog ignored them for a day. Now she will chew on one for a little while then bury it in her covers.

I was happy to try my first purchase with PetFlow, however due to the length of time it took to ship my order, I doubt that I will purchase again. The order was placed on Saturday but didnt ship till Wednesday. No reasons were provided.

This was my first attempt at ordering dog food over the internet. Purchasing this special brand usually requires a 30-45 drive, so I thought I'd try the web to see if it saved time and/or $. The PetSmart cost for this food is $45 plus tax for a 30 lb bag. The PetFlow price was, even after a $10 discount, about $5 more because of the delivery charge. It took about a week for it to arrive. Because of the delay and extra cost, for me to try this again, I would have to be unable to get to the pet food store. It would be worthwhile if I were elderly or ill and couldn't drive. It was helpful having the 30# bag brought up the stairs to my home.

The bully sticks I purchased for my three pitbulls were mere toothpicks- and they are the tiniest ones available and came from a vendor that I usually buy my bully sticks from. The price was about $25 more than if I would have purchased the teeny-tiny bully sticks from my usual vendor. (But I usually buy the thicker ones) I feel that their products are a bit over-inflated in price for some items, so I believe that the saying "buyer beware" is appropriate here. Too bad, as I spend about $3000.00 on my own dogs online, and work with rescues and purchase an additional $2,000 in products for them. They could have had a great customer in me, as this was my first purchase and it has left a terrible taste in my mouth!!!

I like the convenience of having my pet supplies shipped to me at my discretion, but often things are missing. I do not get charged, but it defeats the purpose of ordering online this way. For example; I get a case of wet cat food and a 25 lb. box of cat litter shipped on a monthly basis. For the last three shipments, no litter. Not even a substitute. I think that if they offer a service that includes auto-shipping me something, they should ask me for a substitute option (if I want one). I also would love it if they allowed for a ratings system on their site. It would be nice to know if people like a product or if there are recalls on something, etc. before trying something new. There are starting to be more and more sites like this, and I hope to stay with Petflow, but if these things don't change, I probably won't.

I have a 120lb dog but the spoiled rotten box I received had all treats/toys for a small dog.
