The bookstore provides a reasonable amount of options when it comes to what retailer you would like to purchase your book from; therefore, also supplying an accommodating price range. With that being said, there are a lot of small irritants and bugs that can cause users to get confused or just annoyed by the website. For instance, my email was hit with a small barrage when my classes "posted" the books I needed to order, but when I went to check, I had already ordered the books. They were just no longer labeled as "purchased", making me doubtful on whether it just the system or if I needed to start tracking my books and hoping they made it to campus. Along those same lines, if something goes wrong with an order or a book arrives in horrible condition...good luck, Soldier.

Shipping cost might be a bit much expensive than necessary, and buyback costs are way discouraging. Sometimes books are more costly than at other vendors. I do like the option to apply college financial aid to books costs.
Response from TextbookX· Aug 2, 2019
Hello, On campus buybacks are not performed by us, but instead by a third party who gets connected with your school. We often have direct buyback options through us which may be higher, and permit you to resell books through our site at a price you determine directly to other students. If you have any questions about our instant bid buybacks or how to sell your book, please contact our customer experience team at textbookx.com/help Thanks, TextbookX

Well organized website of the bookstore. Some of the books come at the expected time, and others I got a long delay. I would prefer a better variety and compare prices in order to have a lower price with better quality. Must change the shipping options and cost. Some times shipping cost more than the actual order.

Buying here has saved me a lot of money, mostly because it charges to my student account which I can pay later/scholarships pay for them. The biggest thing that sucks is the return policy, though. Usually i barely even GET the books within 30 days of ordering. Likely because I order early, but still. Last semester I dropped a class on the very first day and was unable to return my books for that class. Additionally, I struggled with a book this semester. I ordered it 3 times. I kept getting emails that the order was cancelled. It was just kinda annoying, TBH. Plus, I had to wait a day or so for my school's credit to be put back in my account. So, to order a single book, it took 6 days. lol.

Hey Lillian, I wanted to let you know we have updated our return policy to extend to 2 weeks after classes start or 30 days from your order. This should cover any dropped courses. Concerning the cancellations, it does appear a marketplace seller had some inventory mislistings. I'm sorry you experienced this, we are always working with sellers to ensure their inventory is up to date. Thanks, TextbookX

I have never used an online bookstore before but this was fairly straightforward and books were sent in decent time. I liked that it would notify me when my classes received textbook requirements and it was easy to find good cheap copies of those books. I do caution that if you are ordering multiple books from different companies make sure you pay for them separately in order to make sure the order goes where it needs and isn't cancelled.

Prices are not very competitive. Delivery must exceed 35 dollars to be free. However, it is helpful to find rare version of books.

Hi Tian, Thanks for your feedback. We are always considering different ways to help our students get their books quickly and affordably. I will pass on your concern about the minimum free shipping threshold. Thanks, TextbookX

Prices are competitive, but selections are limited. Many times, ebooks are not available.

Hi Shinobu, Thanks for your feedback. I'm a bit concerned about your mentioning eBook availability, as I see your previous orders were filled same day. I'll be reaching out to discuss privately, so we can correct the issue you faced. Thanks, TextbookX
