I've been using VideoText for my audio and video transcription, and I've found it super helpful! My favorite feature is Make Client Ready. It lets you automatically format transcripts to match guidelines like Rev or GoTranscript, or you can upload your own custom style guide. It does struggle a bit with speaker identification and tracking when there are multiple speakers, but the raw accuracy is still impressive. Plus, you can easily separate speakers manually since it lets you add timecodes, including BITC, post-generation. Overall, it's definitely worth a try and remains a solid tool for straightforward files.

Thank you, Brian! You've been one of our most valuable testers, and a lot of what's in VideoText today came from your feedback on real transcription files, so this review means a lot. I'm glad Make Client Ready has been useful. Matching Rev, GoTranscript or a client's own style guide is exactly the job we built it for. You're right about multiple speakers. Speaker identification on busy, multi-voice files is the area we're working on most right now. Until then, the manual speaker and timecode tools (including BITC) are there so you're never stuck. Please keep sending us the tough files.
