⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Partner in Complex Respiratory Discharges! As a Director of Respiratory Therapy in a post-acute care setting, I cannot say enough positive things about AdaptHealth and the incredible team we work with! Discharging patients home with complex respiratory needs is no small task. Whether it's a new non-invasive ventilator, invasive mechanical ventilator, tracheostomy supplies, or oxygen equipment, there are countless moving pieces that must come together to ensure a safe and successful transition home. Adapt consistently goes above and beyond to make that happen. Whether we have a month to carefully coordinate a complex discharge or receive a 24-hour heads-up on an unexpected, complicated situation, Adapt has always stepped up to the challenge. They respond quickly, communicate effectively, coordinate the details, and somehow manage to pull everything together, even when the circumstances seem nearly impossible. And I have to give an especially HUGE shout-out to Visnja Kennelly RRT. She is absolutely phenomenal! I genuinely cannot count the number of times she has practically pulled miracles out of thin air to make a discharge happen. Her dedication, resourcefulness, responsiveness, and willingness to advocate for patients are unmatched. She doesn't just process referrals; she takes ownership of helping patients get home safely with the respiratory support they need. For patients with complex respiratory needs, getting home is about so much more than delivering equipment. It's about restoring independence, reuniting families, and making what sometimes feels impossible actually possible. We simply could not accomplish some of these challenging discharges without Adapt and Visnja. From one respiratory care professional to another, thank you for understanding the urgency, the complexity, and most importantly, the people behind every referral. adapt health has taken over for Kaiser durable medical equipment. They have sent me fraudulent bills over and over again and call my house all day long. I get at least four calls a day saying that I haven’t paid my bill and I have no copayments. Kaiser has tried rectify this and even told adapt health on a three-way call more than twice that I owe no money yet they keep sending me bills and calling me and calling me all day long and threatening me to pay the bill that I won’t get the rest of my medical care when they delivered my wheelchair, they delivered it with the wrong cushion and it still has never been replaced and they charged me for a cushion that does not even fit my wheelchair. They are horrible. They lie on the phone and say they don’t call and they lie on the phone and say they’re not sending me any bills, but they’re calling me and telling me that if I don’t comply and pay the bill that I don’t owe it will result in my other services being suspended, which means my cannulas for my oxygen concentrator, which came from Apria healthcare and has already been paid off for the amount of years. I’ve had it. They never provided the oxygen concentrator for me. Apria Healthcare did.
