I had purchased a keyboard of theirs that slowly degraded over time. First two keys decided that they weren't gonna have semi-weighted keys, then the solders for the sustain and midi went out too. Overall, don't aim to buy anything from Alesis. At least spend $300 on a different brand if you want a good instrument.

I have had one of their strike drum brains for 2 years, (Warranty only one!). Sounds great when it works, but becoming unreliable for gigs as it occasionally freezes, and the kick drum occasionally drops out! This is an expensive piece of kit that has been well looked after and not used excessively. Obviously their build/component/software quality is poor, and the warranty period says that they know this. I will not be replacing this with another Alesis after the 'support' received. This is the second Alesis drum brain I've had go faulty, definitely the last.

This company is among the worst for support. I emailed then EIGHT DAYS ago about a minor issue and all I have received to date is the first auto reply saying they got my request. Horrible service. But once a company gets so big they don't care about losing users, particularly when they know most musicians and studios HAVE to buy their stuff.

Bought the Turbo Mesh electronic drum kit. Instructions OK to follow, with patience, and it fitted together neatly. Sounds good through the extra headphones I bought - because I'd heard the ones that ship with the kit aren't that great. Lucky I bought them, as there were no headphones included in my box!

Customer service was great. Every contact I had was with the same person who helped me a whole month to find and fix the problem I was having. He stayed in touch till the problem was solved.

OK functioning budget e-drums, although lacking in quality. The real bad experience is with support and parts. Their support is horrible - they basically just does everything they can to not help with anything. It's the worst "support" I've ever experienced - shame on them! Then there's parts availability - that's practically non existent.
