I will never rent from Amelia Rentals again. We paid an enormous amount of money for a very average home for Thansgiving. I called at 4:25 pm on day of arrival with question. Already closed. Answering service said someone would call me back and no one ever did. House was out of propane gas and we could not use cooktop. Called Friday morning and left message that we were having some issues and asked someone to please call me and no one ever called. Totally unacceptable

Ms. Hodge, On behalf of the staff at Amelia Rentals, we apologize for any inconvenience that you experienced. Megan, our maintenance supervisor did however call out Saywer Gas located here in Fernandina Beach and while they were unable to go out on Wednesday the 21st to service the call, they were out there on Thanksgiving morning to provide the home with gas. Since the company wasn't able to assist you on the day of arrival when you reported the issue, we did offer to send you and your guests to dinner completely covered by our company and you declined the offer. I will be glad to assist you with any further questions or comments that you may have regarding the issue. We hope you will consider returning to Amelia Island. Best Regards, Hayleigh Snow Amelia Rental and Management Services.

Hard to get a response. Not well prepared. Contacted cleaning service did not get condo ready. Had to wash our own towels to use. Lots of little things that add up to general frustration.

Terrible experience. We had arranged to pick up both sets of keys for two rentals; when we got there they refused to honor the agreement. When I called (my sister tried to get the keys but I had made the arrangements) they said they would look into it and call me back.... never heard from anyone. The directions they gave us were wrong and the door code didn’t work. Horrible customer service!!!

Cindie, Our front desk team works hard to make sure that our guests are provided with directions to their units and keys or door codes depending on which the unit has. Regarding the keys for the second rental that you had, we were unable to hand over those keys to you and your guests since the unit had a different check in date. We apologize for the inconveniences you had while you were here. We hope you'll consider returning to Amelia Island. Best Regards, Hayleigh Snow Amelia Rental and Management Services
