I had a very positive buying experience with my recent purchase. There was an issue with the book and the friendly customer service team was responsive and quickly resolved the issue.

I ordered a book from American Book Warehouse expecting a hard cover but received a paperback. When I reached out via email, they responded with kind customer service and offered me a solution that was more than acceptable. The response time wasn't as immediate as some companies, but they did respond and customer support representative was beyond friendly and helpful.

I ordered what I thought was a new Bible, but I received a used one instead. I wasn't expecting that. It was to be a gift for a friend, and I was already late in getting it to her. I was upset as I didn't understand how this could have happened. I emailed customer service and they explained they sell used books, but I don't recall seeing that when making my decision to purchase it. They emailed me back and said they were sorry for the confusion and that they would refund my money and I could keep the used Bible. I certainly wasn't expecting that reply. They didn't have to do that, but it was an act of kindness that I will never forget. The customer isn't always right for which I apologize. I will definitely consider doing business with them again. I have already told others of my experience and they were surprised as well. I respect a business who stands behind their products and reputation.
