I would not recommend American Publishing Solution. I had a one year marketing contract with them and all they sold was about 5 books. They kept contacting me for more fees to do things that they wouldn’t follow up on. I spent thousands of dollars on nothing. Terrible marketing plan, etc.

★☆☆☆☆ Six-Book Project Left Unfinished
★☆☆☆☆ Six-Book Project Left Unfinished
I hired American Publishing Solution (APS) to professionally edit, format, and publish six books on Amazon. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.
Throughout the project, I was handed off to different project managers multiple times, resulting in poor continuity and repeated confusion about the status of my books.
APS eventually represented that the books had been successfully published and requested the remaining payment. However, Amazon subsequently identified problems with several books and formats involving covers, interiors, formatting, and publishing requirements. Some hardcover editions also did not meet page-count requirements—something I believe should have been identified during professional preparation.
I repeatedly asked APS for a simple book-by-book, format-by-format explanation of what I needed to correct as the author and what APS needed to correct as the publisher. I never received the clear resolution I requested.
APS then proposed an additional $2,000 “collaborative writing and redevelopment” service. I had never authorized APS to add pages, write new material, expand chapters, or otherwise substantively change my manuscripts. I made clear that if additional author content was legitimately required, I would create it myself.
My position was simple: I had already hired APS to edit, format, prepare, and publish the books. I did not believe I should pay another $2,000 for work that appeared to overlap with the publishing services I had already purchased.
APS later proposed publishing the remaining books through Lulu rather than completing the Amazon project. Ultimately, APS informed me that it would do no further work and waived the remaining $274 balance.
There is also an unresolved ISBN issue. I was previously told that each book had an ISBN associated with it. After APS ended the project, I requested the ISBN information for all six books, including the unpublished books. As of the date of this review, APS has not furnished the requested ISBN information.
Publishing problems can happen. My one-star rating is based on the overall handling of the project: repeated project-manager changes, unresolved Amazon publishing issues, inadequate explanation of what needed correction, an additional $2,000 proposal for services I had not authorized, and APS ultimately walking away without completing the six-book Amazon publishing project.
I would not use American Publishing Solution again, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend them to other authors.
This review reflects my personal experience and the status of the project as of the date posted. If APS provides the outstanding ISBN information, I will update the review accordingly.

Scam Company – Authors Central / American Publishing Solution
I invested $7,500 with this so-called publishing company (they operate under the names The Authors Central and American Publishing Solution, same people, just hiding behind different titles). They promised full book publishing, marketing, and copyrights, but I received nothing in return.
They created my Amazon KDP account under their company name instead of mine, which means all of my royalties are going directly to them. I don’t even have access to the sales dashboard to see how much I’m earning. Essentially, they have stolen my book and my income.
I was shuffled between six different people. Joyce White, Rachel Futsa, Shawn, Chris Diaz, and Ronan O’Brien. Each made promises and excuses until they eventually stopped responding. When I finally confronted Joyce White, she tried to cover it up by saying “we fired everyone,”which makes no sense at all.
This entire operation is nothing but a fraud and a scam. They take your money, lock you out of your own accounts, and keep every penny of your royalties.
⚠️ Do NOT trust Authors Central or American Publishing Solution. They are the same scam company under different names. I lost $7,500 and my book rights because of them. Don’t let them do the same to you.

Would avoid for printing services
This company seems like a scam if you are turning to it for book printing services (seems from reviews here that they may do other things well). They can't supply samples of paper or books, which is non standard. The person I talked to made it seems like this is an unusual request. He said the only way to see their work was to pay $1,100 to do a run of 10 books. He didn't seem knowledgeable and I would not trust giving money to them for printing services.
