5 stars. Our driver, Edward B., was great. Gave great customer service and was so easy to work with. Our packer was Parker and he was awesome as well. I really appreciated the attention to protecting our belongings. I’m so thankful we used American.

We really appreciated how well American Van Lines communicated with us throughout the entire process, in addition to their stellar execution of the move itself. Our movers were so easy to work with and our stuff was moved very efficiently.

This was a move from California to Florida and it was a perfect move. Everyone on the American Van Lines team was very professional and has done outstanding job - from the cost estimators to coordinators to the moving crew. None of our items got lost or damaged. Everything was properly inventoried, packed and delivered on time. Exactly as scheduled. I would highly recommend American Van Lines to anyone contemplating a long distance move.

From the initial quote to the household pick to the delivery. The process was outstanding. The entire team was very efficient and the process was very transparent. I did not have to wary about anything during the relocation. All of our staff got to the new place in good conditions. The driver was very professional kudos to him.

The guys who picked up the furniture were careful, considerate, and didn't waste any time. The guys who unloaded in Tennessee (one of them also loaded the truck in Connecticut), we're equally careful and efficient. I would say that the various departments in your customer service sphere, could really use some better coordination. No one seemed to be sure what anyone else was doing ( with the exception of Paul) which resulted in a lot of duplication of effort and an over abundance of communications ( often contradictory). It started to get really annoying.

Movers were quick and efficient. I felt the items they packed for me were packed carefully, and I generally felt they were careful with my items while unloading / loading. They were also promptly at my pickup location and the delivery locations at the scheduled times. Also, I felt everything was well explained, which put me at ease during the moving process. Additionally, on unloading, I have not found any items to have been damaged in the move. They did a great job, and I would definitely use them again in the future!
