The American Massage Therapy Association is the largest non-profit, professional association serving massage therapists, massage students and massage schools. We are guided by a volunteer national Board of Directors who sets the course for the association. As a member-driven organization, we are constantly in conversation with our members through surveys, phone calls, emails and social media to understand the diverse needs of all of our members and their hopes for the profession. We advocate for the issues important to massage therapists across the country at the federal, state and local levels of government. We promote the health benefits of massage to the public, the health care community and other important groups. AMTA provides its members with the strongest benefits in the massage therapy profession and has been serving our community for over 75 years.
American Massage Therapy Association (amtamassage.org) has 384 customer reviews on Consumer Courier, with an average rating of 4.6 out of 5.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like I don't get clear information in a timely manner. I offered to volunteer at an event, but didn't get any feedback. Suddenly, there's a class that we're supposed to take that I didn't read anywhere. Im on a budget with other massage outlay commitments. I love the commitment and enthusiasm, of the people who get things done. but I don't feel a part of whats going on.

I enjoy the quarterly massage therapy journal. I love that I can choose liability insurance to go along with my membership! Thanks

AMTA is always quickly responsive whenever I have a question or a request. Their services some of which include coursework, insurance and business discounts provide one-stop shopping for massage therapists. It's also reassuring to know that AMTA is a staunch advocate for the massage therapy profession.
