You ordered a transmission for your 2012 Jeep Patriot on 2 December 2025. It shipped on 9 December, sent directly to your installer, and it carried a six-month warranty running through 9 June 2026. The diagnostic documentation supporting your claim reached us in August, roughly two months after that coverage had ended. We know that is a frustrating thing to hear, so let us explain why the date matters rather than just pointing at it. A warranty period is not fine print we hide behind. It is the window in which we can actually verify what went wrong, work with the vendor who supplied the unit, and put it right. Every customer who buys from us gets the same six months, and that protection only means something because it is applied the same way to everyone. If a claim could be made at any point after the sale, the warranty period would not exist in any real sense, and neither would the promise it represents. Even so, we did not close your file. Our technicians reviewed the codes from Superior Transmission and the notes from Crown Jeep, we spoke with your installer directly, and we offered you a replacement unit priced at our own cost, with no profit to us. That offer is still open. We build relationships through these transactions, not one-off sales. That is why we would ask you to consider what a review does.
