Warning, we have had a Calphalon® Premier Ceramic Nonstick 12" Frying Pan with Lid for less than a year and the non-stick feature has worn off even though we used only wood and plastic utensils. Calphalon says 10 year warranty, BS. They rejected our claim saying "This warranty does not cover ....non-stick coating loss or non-stick coating performance loss after use, whether as a result of normal wear and tear....". Stay away from this line of cookware. Read the reviews on Review platforms like Trustpilot and PissedConsumer that show low satisfaction scores, with frequent complaints about rejected warranty claims, unfulfilled replacement policies, and delayed refunds. Pan is going into the trash to fill up the landfill.

Please stop buying anything from this company. They don’t honor the warranty even on the boxes of their products says 10 years warranty. The customer service is extremely rude and unprofessional. They have the most poor customer service line and their warranty is a big lie. They send you hundreds of emails to tell you that you don’t have warranty for your products. Please do not buy anything from them .

Do not trust this company. I have used their products for years and just tried to use their warranty for a pan that has not held up well and has been well cared for. They of course denied the claim as they have done for everyone else. I asked what is covered and they said the handles and the structure of the pots and pans and lids. Chatting with Tamil felt like it was a robot trained to say no, not a compassionate customer service representative. I would give their customer care zero stars if I could. Empathy and the ability to wow customers is how you grow a business and create brand loyalty. I will never buy anything they make ever again.

Here’s the review: Hard Pass Everything put into this pan has stuck, including oils, since day one. We tried various techniques to help with the sticking issues but eventually gave up...outside the 60 day return window. Now we find out that Calphalon doesn't warranty for anything to do with the ceramic coating. Why even put a warranty on it then? Additionally, while a google search shows Calphalon Premier products are made in Ohio, according to Calphalon Customer Service, they are actually made in China. After buying Calphalon for years, definitely feel ripped off. Looking for good USA made pots and pans now!

I bought a ceramic non-stick frying pan a year ago. I noticed it has lost its non-stick capability. I used and washed the pan Exactly by the instructions that came with it. I submitted a claim and was told "normal ware and tare is not covered." So if you want to replace your pans every yeay buy these.

Apparently I am far from the only one who has this issue. They do not actually stand by their warranty. A few weeks ago I filed a claim on a pan that had buckled and was under full lifetime warranty. I contacted "customer service" today and was told they had no record of my claim, which is pure garbage. This is their way of fending off claims, so that you will get tired and give up. Very common in today's unscrupulous business environment. So folks, don't think by paying premium prices for their cookware that you are going to be protected, just re-think your purchase. I am intelligent and know what I am doing, and I did file the claim along with the necessary pictures via their webportal. It is so easy to just say, we didn't get it. Again, this is how companies keep from having to replace the garbage they manufacture yet claim to be so great that they back up materials and workmanship for lifetime. They hope you will just "go away". I have no plans to do so. Next step, Federal Consumer Protection and the BBB. And by the way, why do you think they have a 1.5 star overall Trustpilot rating? Because they are a good, company who does the right thing?

Calphalon no longer stands behind its products the way it once did. The “lifetime warranty” is misleading at best. The warranty portal is unreliable, repeatedly timing out and making it nearly impossible to submit a claim. Even when contacting customer service directly, the experience is frustrating and ultimately unhelpful. More concerning is the quality decline. The nonstick coating has a tendency to flake, which raises legitimate safety concerns. Cookware should not deteriorate this quickly, nor should it pose potential health risks when it does. This brand was once known for durability and reliability, but that is no longer the case. I would strongly recommend avoiding these products and choosing a company that actually stands behind its warranty and product quality.

This company is a laughing stock. I got a Calphalon pan 2.5 years ago. Half of the inside of the pan is scratched down to the metal. (no whisks were used, no metal cookware, no dishwasher). The underside of the pan also has a small "bulge" in it, possible create by the heat of the stove. Obviously the product is not built to last. But the worst part about them is their customer service. I contacted them and included pictures of the pan inside and out. They refused the warranty, were unprofessional, and did not care about their shoddy merchandise. Built to last?! NO! Built to be thrown away after a few years? YES. My family, friends, and the vast number of chefs that I know will no longer be using any Calphalon products.
