Have ordered three items from camp saver - one was delivered and was not all dented up - and two more of the same item are on the way - considering that I returned two titanium cups to the large box store for a refund because they had been dented - I found it surprising that campsaver would send out the titanium cups from them with no box - just a cup floating around in a plastic mailer with no protection - which is fine if nothing happens to it but all it takes is one incident along the delivery chain and then you would have a hassle to return it and blah blah blah - other than that - things are okay. update: received the other two cups this time they were packaged in cardboard and looked new - however one had what looked like an old price label ripped off the information wrap around the outside of the cup and the other had no outside information wrap at all - so inventory must be low - besides sharing that information I have no complaints about product and condition of all three cups I ordered and received from campsaver.

I’ve bought from CS before and was impressed by the price and the speed of delivery etc. A couple of weeks ago I bought something (on a Friday) from them using a different card and they sent me an email saying they were holding the transaction until I verified the card. I had to choose one of two options. I went the quicker one but because it was a Friday afternoon it didn’t get processed till Monday (when I called and spoke to a nice enough customer service rep). By Weds all was verified and the order has shipped (should arrive today/tomorrow). While my idea of a “fast option” is that it gets done in a day or two (not five), everything has gone smoothly, customer service was helpful and the purchase is due to arrive tomorrow (according to UPS). I would shop with them again.

I ordered from them before I saw the reviews. Had I seen the reviews I probably wouldn't have. However, I'm glad I did (but I also acknowledge that I never had to deal with customer service either). I'm leaving a review because I think the review average doesn't tell the whole story. My experience, ordered luggage ($30 cheaper per bag than anywhere else) on Thursday (1 week before my flight). Paid extra for 2-day shipping. They shipped it Monday and it came Wednesday night. Not super impressed with the delay to ship but very happy with the price. In short, it seems that they have great prices as long as you can afford to wait longer than you would expect.

I ordered two Exped Megamat 10 Duo camp mattresses from Campsaver. They were on sale for 30% off (a $230 saving) so I ordered them without hesitation. After 4 days I had not received a shipping notice and I started to get worried having read all the bad reviews about them selling things that they don’t actually have in stock. On the fifth day after I placed my order I was about to call them, but I got a shipping notice and the mattresses arrived in NYC 6 days after that. I did not interact with their customer service, so I can’t speak of that. My experience was thankfully a positive one. However, I don’t doubt the negative reviews and would advise caution.

So I placed an order for a child bike seat. It was about 70$ cheaper on their website with a code and free ship included. They emailed me the next day that item was not in stock. However their website had said “in stock”. This apparently was an outlet item, that they ship directly from the manufacturer. The manufacturer where the ones whom didn’t have said item available. They were polite enough to cancel my order, and refund me. I ended up re-ordering the same item, but this time it wasn’t “outlet”. It was full price of 225$, however with a 30% code, I paid just about the same as the outlet priced seat. The item was shipped same day, and I received it in 3 days. Item is just as described. Overall if it wasn’t for the initial mix up, I would give company 5 stars. I contacted them through both phone and email, and never had issues. Taylor with customer service was a pleasure.

I posted this exact thing on yelp: I can't help but feel compelled to write a review. I was pretty distraught after I placed my order and then stumbled across the substantially less than flattering reviews. Before I became aware of those reviews, I ordered an air mattress which was the best deal I could find even though it was just a few bucks. They shipped it that day and it arrived shortly thereafter on time and as expected. I had a pretty good experience. No worries at all.

I've placed a couple of big orders with Campsaver over the years; they have a good range and competitive prices. As I'm an overseas customer, I occasionally get snagged by the export restrictions on certain brands and products which isn't made clear until after the order (and payment) go through, but that's not so much Campsaver's issue as international trade restrictions. Will definitely continue to shop here.

I really don’t get what’s up with all these bad reviews... ordered an Arcteryx jacket and it arrived in less than 2 weeks. Great quality! Very hard to find online and Camp saver had it! I am not expecting amazon prime service for a small company like this. Happy customer, thank you.
