For a company that claims to run the latest cutting edge project management software, their subscription model is straight out of the 1990s. Everything about account management is manual. Downgrades or seat reductions? Only possible with at least 30 days notice before the renewal period. Want to change your billing cycle? Requires an - unanswered ticket submission. Be CAREFUL choosing an annual plan with them as these conditions can make it an expensive mistake that feels impossible to get out of.

ClickUp is one of the best project management tools I've ever used. It turns chaos into structure and helps workflows run smoothly. It's so customizable that you can build amazing systems without worrying about limitations or unnecessary complexity. Highly recommended!

Excellent and amazing product

Our company has been struggling with ClickUp for months. We previously had approximately 50 seats and paid around $7,000 annually. After downsizing, we repeatedly contacted their team to reduce our seat count so we could continue using the platform with a plan that reflected our actual staffing. Despite reaching out well before renewal, we received little to no response. When renewal came around, we were still being asked to pay the full amount for seats we no longer needed. We explained that we wanted to remain customers but could not justify renewing so many unused seats. After approximately two months of unresolved communication, our account was blocked. We ultimately paid the amount, yet we are now in our second week of waiting for their billing team to respond and restore access. Our team remains locked out of our work and client information, creating serious disruption to our daily operations. Paying thousands of dollars and still being unable to access the service—with no response or clear resolution—is unacceptable. We wanted to continue using ClickUp. This experience has left us deeply disappointed in their billing support, communication, and treatment of an existing customer.
