Our experience with Cocoon was unfortunately not a positive one. Overall the booking and production experience had several issues that made the process much more difficult than expected. Certain site requirements were not communicated clearly enough ahead of the shoot and significantly impacted our ability to work efficiently once on set. More concerning was the experience with the property owner, whose behavior toward our crew was highly unprofessional and made the entire team uncomfortable. We work on productions regularly and understand the importance of respecting the properties we shoot in. At the same time, we expect the spaces we book through a production partner to be appropriate for professional productions and for issues to be handled respectfully and reasonably. Unfortunately, based on this experience and the other issues we encountered throughout the booking process, we would not book through Cocoon again.
