While most purchases track automatically, there are a number of factors that can prevent tracking, such as browser settings, ad blockers, or having multiple cash back or coupon extensions installed, which can sometimes overwrite tracking cookies. When a purchase doesn’t track, submitting a receipt allows us to investigate the transaction and still issue rewards when possible. We understand that’s not the ideal experience, but it’s a safeguard so members don’t miss out on cash back when tracking fails.
