Delivery was delayed and late the next day Rented equipment was used, driver jammed the strap causing the container to be jammed. I had to use my excavator to to lift and pull to unload it,while the driver was in a hurry to leave as I moving it into position. My last two were put exactly where I wanted without my help from the competition.

The container is great but the communication with me was not. The driver somehow didn’t have my phone number. Dave the person who was supposed to coordinate with the driver told me that someone would call after I had contacted him midway through the delivery day. I had no idea if the container was coming and no one contacted me until I finally talked to Chris. He contacted Dave who then contacted the the driver who then finally around 3pm contacted me. I’d basically given up hope until Chris got involved. The driver seemed like a nice guy but he tried to unload the container where I’d wanted it put but missed the spot by over 10 feet. I’m having to pay a contractor to come and lift and move the container now. I don’t think anyone was incompetent but the breakdown in communication with me was very frustrating since I’d traveled to the delivery location and was there much of the day waiting.

Pat, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you’re pleased with the container, and we’re sorry the delivery-day communication left you waiting after traveling to the property. Arrival estimates can shift as drivers complete earlier stops and navigate traffic or unloading delays. Even with those variables, we understand how important a clear update is when you’ve set aside your day. We appreciate your patience and your recognition of Chris’s help in connecting everyone.

For starters, I would be nice if they sent you options to choose from. Yes i know its used yada yada. The container i received this time versus last year was totally different. Very rough and not as pleased as i was the first time. Then we get to the purchase part. Your money is gone so fast no worries. This particular time I was told how about tomorrow. Only 5 or so days out from purchase date. Time goes by, driver can't make it. Calls back the next day to reschedule for the next day. Sure, make the arrangments, time goes by and another phone call. Paperwork won't right. Got that straight and week goes by and reschedule for next day. The driver calls to reschedule because dispatch didn't want to. It finally showed up late that evening. I only went with this company because I was very pleased with my last purchase. The driver was great and put it exactly where I wanted it. If I decide to buy another it will possibly be through another supplier. To many middle man in the process.

Justin, thank you for choosing Container One again. We’re sorry this experience didn’t match your first purchase, and we understand the frustration of rearranging your schedule multiple times. Your purchase was for a used Wind and Water Tight container. Appearance and wear can vary between units of the same grade. For customers who prioritize cosmetic condition, we always recommend a one-trip container for a cleaner, more consistent appearance. Delivery requires coordination between the depot, carrier, and dispatch. Changes in truck availability or release paperwork can affect scheduling, and we recognize that repeated changes are disruptive. We’re glad the driver provided a positive experience and placed the container exactly where you wanted it. Thank you for your feedback and your repeat business.

its a rusty steel box better condition ones could have been selected.
Response from Container One· Oct 2, 2026
This is why we inspect it at depot and also inspect with you at delivery. Rust is does not affect the grade you bought. Its cosemetic only. We are very diligent describing grades at check out and in our terms and conditions befor you buy. Corten steel is designed to surface rust only and thats why we have a 5 year warranty, Sorry you feel the container is not as cosmeticly appealing as you like. as far as function you are in great shap and thatcontainer will last a life time if you take care of it.

three hours late
Response from Container One· Oct 2, 2026
Sorry it was three hours late. There can be delays that are out our everyibes control like traffic or congestion. The question i have is did we/driver communicate the delay i real time,. Our records show we did. oonce again we are sorry for the 3hr delay. This is why we giv eour customers a delivery window and not an exact time.

Scheduling kept changing. Truck arrived 30 minutes after being told both would arrive the following week. Container was loaded with doors turned opposite of request. Container and driver were great.
Response from Container One· Sep 15, 2026
Thank you for your feedback, Tomy. We’re glad to hear the container itself and the driver met expectations. We do want to clarify that container placement instructions are included with the order at checkout so the driver has direction on how the container is intended to be placed upon delivery. While scheduling can sometimes shift based on logistics and routing, placement instructions are not left to guesswork. We appreciate you sharing your experience and are glad the overall delivery outcome and container quality were positive.

The order process was easy and the container delivery was awesome. I bought 2 within a year. I'm noticing deep rust on the sides and around the doors on both. I haven't had any leaks yet. They are both full from end to end because we've had our home demolished and stored our belongings in them. They have 5 year wind and water warranty. I will be reaching out soon concerning the heavily rusted areas.

Thank you for your feedback, Martin, and thank you again for your repeat business. We’re glad to hear the ordering process was easy and that delivery went well. The containers purchased were 40ft High Cube Wind and Water Tight units, which are intended to be structurally sound and protected against water intrusion, but can still show cosmetic wear such as rust from prior use. We appreciate you noting that the containers are not leaking, and if you do begin to see any water intrusion or related issue, please reach out to us directly so our team can review it with you under the warranty coverage. We appreciate you taking the time to share both the positive parts of your experience and the concern you’re monitoring.

Upon inspecting the container when it arrived we noticed one was very difficult to close and secure the door properly. We ordered two and the first was nice and easy to open and close. The driver was insistent that nothing was wrong only that while it was still on his trailer that it “wasn’t level on the trailer” and that’s what the problem was. He just kept saying it’s fine and bullied us in to signing off that it was good. Ever since it has been placed we have leveled it and moved it up and down every which way and it feels exactly the same, difficult.

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had difficulty with the door. We do want to note that container doors can sometimes require a specific opening and closing process, especially depending on placement and normal wear. This video may be helpful in showing the proper way to open and secure the container doors: https://youtube.com/shorts/5gFV8lf7f_Q?si=8-_AHTIHKqUl18lW If you’re still having trouble after reviewing that, please contact us directly at [email protected] so our team can look into the issue further and help work toward a resolution.
