The Cool Fire Trainer, CFT, is worth the money if there’s any way you can budget it in. The money saved for ammo, gas, time, and added convenience is great. Is the CFT a one to one comparison to live fire? No…BUT the process of acquiring the sights, establishing the grip, returning the sights/dot to the target after recoil, maintaining the grip and being able to fire multiple rounds, doing target transitions, all translates to live fire. If you combine the CFT with the fairly inexpensive laser reactive targets on Amazon or one of the laser reactive target apps like M-ITTS, Laser Ammo HIT, or the Mantis-X system, takes it to another level giving you more feedback and data to work with. I also recommend recording your sessions on video to go back and watch to evaluate how efficient your movements are. The Cool Fire Trainer is a great tool.

My certifications included Firearms Instructor, Defensive and Arrest Tactics Instructor, Glock Pistol Instructor, Glock Armorer, Counter Sniper, and MP5 Operator. I served 7 years on the tactical team. I also researched and procured an interactive firearms system for the agency. I share this to give an idea of my experience with both firearms and laser trainers. I was recently gifted a Mantis Laser Academy. I started looking for a training system that provides realistic recoil and trigger reset, and I came across the Cool Fire system. The Cool Fire system has been a great training system. My wife, 14-year-old daughter, and 24-year-old daughter all love shooting on the system, and it provides a safe, realistic environment for instruction and enjoyment.

Exceptional Support I was contacted because I ordered the wrong parts, they corrected it without any issues. Was also very impressed in the delivery speed and how smooth everything went with customs. (Imported into CH)

Great device that simulates firearm "kickback" without having to spend money on ammunition or go to the range. Device is simple to install and use. Documentation is great and well written. Videos on YouTube channel are great instruction on various "how to" do things with trainer. Had minor issue with striker and tip, that was my fault. I contacted customer service, and they got me back up and running in no time. This trainer, and the company provide awesome value! Highly recommend the product!

Unfortunately the Kit I received didn't fit my Staccato C, but they quickly worked through the issues and offered full refund! Really hoping they offer a kit for my C soon!
