I recently ordered a pair of glasses through CoolFrames. I had two prescriptions, and I ordered the stronger one. When I received the glasses they were too strong. I returned to CoolFrames and they filled with my weaker prescription no hassles. I'm super happy with the pricing, I saved significantly over the eye doctors office (even with my vision insurance), customer service peeps were great. I purchased Silhouette frames with the Hoya Trivex lenses. These are excellent lenses very comparable to the Essilor Crizal. I would definitely recommend these frames and lenses and CoolFrames as your provider.

First Pro :Return was acknowledged and processed immediately, I did not have to wonder if they were going to refund me CON: I received frames, opened them within 2 minutes of receiving, tried them on once, saw they did not fit my face, re-packaged in the box they came in, drove to post office, mailed them back to cool frames 30 min later. I HAD TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING $10.00 AND there is a TWENTY PERCENT restocking fee for EACH PAIR of glasses you send back! So, you better KNOW you picked the right frames for your face! 20% restocking fee is excessive in my opinion and as a result I will not purchase from Coolframes again. Recieved pink light frames, ordered copper & black. Evidently, their pink is called copper & black. Be selective ordering to make sure you order exactly what you want. Lady was quite abrasive on the phone.

Pros Awesome amount and variety of frames to choose from. Very helpful customer service. Frames can be much less than in Optical stores. Easy return process. Cons Website search for frames could be more effective for customers. I found the "narrow your search" parameters to be inaccurate. I suggest that you add a field for frame size small, medium and large. The cart empties way to fast. I signed in and searched for well over an hour placing 18 frames in my cart. The next day cart was empty. Biggest con for me is the cost of returning frames. First return you pay shipping and $9.99 and get a credit for amount of the frame you return. Second frame you return costs you another label and a fee if 20%. Although I love the frame I ended up with my total cost was about $160 instead of $130. For this reason alone I doubt that I will purchase from Cool frames next time.

Exactly what I wanted. Fit is great. Prescription is right on. I’d buy from CoolFrames again.

The ordering process was easy and my frames arrived super quickly. They were really affordable, but are sturdy. The only thing I would change is the darkness of the frame. I ordered a tortoise shell print, which is almost impossible to see because the frames are so dark. It just looks black. Overall, it was a great experience and I really like my new frames!

Love love love my frames. Cool frames had the best price, in stock, and A perfect fit. Arrived on time. Would by from them again. It was so easy.
