CuddledownReviews of cuddledown.com

I ordered the Eucalyptus Jacquard king sheets and 4 standard cases on 'sale'....but the price was still exhorbitant....over $400++. They took weeks to arrive and after the first wash, before I even used them on the bed, they came out of the dryer wrinkled and rough textured. I dry my sheets for 10 minutes and then fold and hang them to dry to try to PREVENT wrinkles! Definitely not the quality I expected,... and this will make me hesitant to order again. :-(

My 82 year old mother has been charged $21.77/mo for a VIP program. Her credit card records show she’s been paying it since 2005, over $5000! She has never received any benefit, not a penny. Cuddledown refunded 6 mo of charges , $130.62, when I closed her account. This is predatory sales of an elderly person!

Just about everything about my order made me cancel it 4 hours after I placed an order. A $157 purchase ballooned to $199 on my email confirmation. The tax rate was wrong (way too high), the standard shipping was $23 (ridiculous). Additionally, I signed up for Rewards membership for an additional 10% discount and free shipping, neither appearing on my confirmation so already charged me $199. I first wrote in online to cancel my order then also called. 20 minutes later, they said they couldn't cancel my order but could put a stop Shipping ticket but couldn't guarantee that. Likely, it will ship and I can return it for a refund. Unreal... Then transferred to Rewards to cancel that.. Couldn't find my account but wrote up another ticket to cancel and would confirm in 72 hours. Bottom line: everything about ordering from this vendor sucks.

Customer Service is horrible! They transfer you over and over again. No shipment updates are provided whatsoever, it takes weeks if not months. You'd think you get better service for 2 expensive sheets.

I’ve purchased from Cuddledown before, which is why this experience has been so disappointing. I recently ordered a down comforter that cost nearly $1,000. For a product at that price point, I expected excellent quality. Unfortunately, the comforter leaked feathers from the very beginning. I followed the instructions provided in the automated customer service response and returned the item. After that, I heard absolutely nothing from the company. No acknowledgment, no update, nothing. I emailed customer service multiple times and received their standard automated response. I then called and was told my issue would be “escalated.” Again, no follow-up. After weeks of silence, I ultimately had to involve my credit card company to resolve the situation. Looking back, I really wish I had read the many negative reviews about Cuddledown’s customer service before making this purchase. Based on my experience, once something goes wrong, getting any meaningful support from this company appears to be extremely difficult.

Cuddledown Rewards Program: Membership $19.95 a month, claim processing 2-4 weeks after you submit, extended processing to extend membership fee collection. If claim submitted incorrectly, you wait ANOTHER 2-4 WEEKS TO FIND OUT, ANOTHER $19.95. Bait and Switch. Cuddledown Rewards: Avoid. Claim processing not explained until two links later. Did you make a mistake with claim? You will not know until claim processed then you have to submit another claim and wait another month, etc. etc. Phone assistance unable to tell if claim wrong, you have to wait. I think Cuddledown Rewards extends processing time to make additional Monthly Membership Fees. $19.95 each month. Purchase was at Cuddledown Store Freeport Store. Shipping Charge for UPS GROUND ECONOMY to California $20.99. 5.5 lb package, not oversized. So unless you shop MONTHLY at the stores it makes no sense to belong to this program. Also agents give out different information on claim processing time, on agent "10 Days", another agent "2-4 Weeks, up to 90 Days" - spoke to Supervisor she ( Ms Jazz ) said she would enlighten the "90 Day" agent. Bad practices, not clear on processing time, and on each corrected claim it is an additional 2-4 weeks.

The item was too big Returned for exchange Was simply credited, never exchanged and never let me know what was happening. Charged 7.99 shipping but then 13 plus for return shipping and told that I could reorder and pay again shipping Never again

Was told my order couldn't be found. Tried to speak to a supervisor and was disconnected. Ultimately the order was found and sent and my credit card charged, only after I bought a similar product from another company. Cannot get in touch with anyone who can help me.
