This program has been incredible! Entering the data world can feel overwhelming with its many disciplines, tools, and overlapping roles, but this course makes it all manageable. The content is clear, relevant, and comprehensive, and the hands-on assignments truly prepare you for real-world data engineering work. I can’t say enough great things about Zach and DataExpert.io!

I signed up for the full year-subscription with DataExpert.io and jumped into the community bootcamp, and I’m genuinely glad I did. The instructor, Zach Wilson, has clearly been in the trenches (Airbnb, Netflix etc) so the content isn’t just “this is how you write a join” but real engine-room stuff around data modelling, pipelines, streaming, big-scale systems. DataExpert +5 DataExpert +5 Data Engineer Blog +5 What I appreciated most: the bootcamp isn’t lightweight fluff—there’s genuine depth, labs that make you think, a community of fellow learners you can bounce questions off. The Discord/Slack/community side added more than I expected. If I had to pick one caveat: you’ll get the most from it if you already have some SQL/Python comfort. If you’re brand-new to programming or data engineering it might feel fast. All up: worth the investment. If you’re serious about ramping up your data engineering game, DataExpert.io is one of the better options I’ve come across.
