I cannot recommend Dr. Roy and the Delphi USMLE course highly enough! As a medical student preparing for COMP/CBSE and ultimately Step 1, working with Dr. Roy was truly one of the best decisions I made during my preparation. What sets Dr. Roy apart is that he does not approach every student with the same generic study plan. He takes the time to identify your individual weaknesses, understand how you learn, and determine exactly what is holding you back. He helped me become much more strategic with my studying, strengthened my approach to NBME-style questions, and taught me how to recognize what the question was actually testing instead of simply memorizing more information. Dr. Roy is extremely knowledgeable, but what impressed me most was how invested he was in my success. He knew when I needed to push harder, but he also knew when I needed to rest and trust the work I had already put in. During one of the most stressful periods of medical school, his guidance gave me structure, accountability, and confidence when I needed it most. I ultimately passed COMP/CBSE and went on to PASS STEP 1, and Dr. Roy and Delphi were an important part of that journey. I will always be grateful for his guidance and support. If you are struggling with COMP, CBSE, or Step 1—or you simply feel overwhelmed and do not know how to turn all of your studying into better NBME performance—I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Roy and the Delphi USMLE course. I joined this course after trying multiple programs, but within the first few days, I realized his teaching was completely different. He teaches everything from the ground up and builds each system one by one, regardless of where the student stands. That structure filled gaps I didn’t even know I had. He focuses on genuinely important concepts, frequently tested patterns, and high‑yield ideas Step 1 repeatedly asks. His explanations were clear, and I remembered concepts because I understood them, not because I memorized them. His Microbiology notes and high‑yield hub were extremely helpful, and he guided us on how to study in a structured, sustainable way without sacrificing sleep. Even after the course, he was always reliable and supportive, and he adjusted my study plan based on my progress and difficulties. He guided me step‑by‑step and was patient, realistic, and consistent throughout. His approach made UWorld and First Aid feel organized and manageable. My UWorld and NBME scores improved significantly after his lectures. He asked questions throughout teaching, which helped us recall and apply concepts across systems. By the end, everything felt connected, and I realized how much I truly understood. His guidance changed my mindset toward Step 1 preparation, and I found myself studying with more clarity and balance. My confidence grew as my knowledge grew, and my scores reflected that. After going through other Step 1 prep courses required by my school I can truly say Dr. Roy’s course is superior to the rest. By sticking to tried-and-true resources like UWorld and First Aid, he made Step 1 preparation feel far less chaotic and much more approachable. One of the most valuable lessons he taught me was the importance of balance — learning when to step away and take time off. Coming from a Caribbean medical school background, this was the complete opposite of how I was trained during basic sciences, and it completely transformed my mindset. Because of Dr. Roy, my study habits, confidence, and overall approach to medicine have permanently changed for the better. I feel more grounded, more strategic, and more confident moving forward in this journey. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Trust in Dr. Roy, trust the process — and you will succeed!

The Delphi USMLE course made a significant difference in how I approached my CBSE and Step preparation. I usually don’t write reviews, but I would be remiss if I didn’t give credit where credit is due. Dr. Roy’s passion for teaching and ability to tie everything together is remarkable. It was a privilege to learn from him. Hold on to his every word, and you are guaranteed to pass. I adhered to his study schedule including—waking up early, exercising, and going to bed early. He filled many knowledge gaps and gave me the confidence to overcome imposter syndrome and my fear of exams. My NBME predictions went from a 52% chance of passing to a 94% chance, and I passed the USMLE on the first try yesterday. I am forever indebted to the Amazing Dr. Roy.

I did step1 course in October,2023 with Dr.Roy… Truly it’s gem and worth money… The timetable will keep you in sane and discipline for sure that you will definitely end up finishing everything in 6weeks.. You will be motivated through out the course and Dr.Roy will be with you till the day of your exam.. I would recommend 10/10.. Hope they start Step2 soon..

I started my journey with delphi program and Dr. Roy for COMP and step 1 in January 2023. It was one of my best decisions. The way the program was structured gave students time to learn as well as take care of themselves during this journey. Dr. Roy approaches the program with great enthusiasm, dedication, and has great expertise in prepping for the USMLE. He breaks each topic down and makes sure you understand it well. The course is structured with limited students; and he encourages students to participate and engages them in discussions to better enhance the learning. In my personal experience, Delphi and Dr. Roy have gone above and beyond to help me reach my goal. I was taking my exam during Christmas holidays and Dr. Roy made sure to answer all my questions leading up to my exam. He definitely cares about his students growth and gives personal attention to each one. I would highly recommend the program to all students preparing for USMLE and/or COMP from all background and countries.

When I contacted Dr Roy, I had failed school CBSE and didn’t have an idea of what to do next. But, after speaking to Dr Roy before the course had even started, he gave me the courage to re-start my prep again. Delphi USMLE course is taught so well by him. I enjoyed and looked forward to attending class every morning. He does an amazing job of teaching each concepts in such a way that you will not only understand every aspect of the concepts but also be able to remember it long term. His way of teaching and explaining concepts is just so unique. Post the course, he keeps in touch with you and will meet you throughout until you pass CBSE and STEP 1. He guides you thru each practice NBMEs, meets with you religiously and tracks your progress. I not only passed CBSE but I also just received my STEP 1 PASS two days ago and all credit goes to Dr Roy. He guided, encouraged and believed in me when I didn’t. He pushed me. I am so grateful that I was introduced to this course and I owe my passing to Dr Roy. I highly highly recommend this course to everyone who are looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.
