They work at keeping water out while swimming.

These earplugs saved my marriage....(I'm not joking either). My husband snores as loud as a freight train (probably louder) and I just couldn't sleep in the same room as him, let alone the same bed as him until I bought these. I have tried every earplug out there and they either didn't fit or you could still hear everything, but not these plugs. You don't hear a lot (which is the point) and these are by far the best! They don't harden like the others do and remain soft and pliable. They also don't leave a ton of residue in your ears like the others do. They block out about 98% of sounds (IMHO) and I'm VERY sensitive to sound and a VERY light sleeper. However, when I wear these, I sleep VERY soundly and deeply. Best investment of my life! Thank you, Mighty Plugs for saving my marriage! If you need me to give any other testimony, I'm happy to do so!

I find the shipping rate outrageously high. May not reorder next time because of it. $35 for a non rush tiny package is ridiculous to me.

Best product on the market

We recently installed a sump pump in the basement directly below our bedroom. My wife is a light sleeper and could hear the unit operating. We tried other earplugs but nothing seemed to completely block out the noise. These earplugs did the trick. We wife can now sleep without any noise disruptions.

These are the only kind I can sleep in. They block out a snoring mate beautifully!! I keep a pair in my purse as well when going to a concert or movie which I find too loud.
