The rate quoted to me online increased slightly when I reviewed my first bills. Otherwise, no complaints. I hope green energy is being utilized.

Clearview Energy made the switch to be my supplier without a problem or interruption of my power. I have a competitive reasonable rate for this service. I appreciate the concept of using green energy. It’s good for the earth.

The transfer of our electric rate was seamless. We only had to sign up on the website and the rest was very easy.

You get billed for using a third party provider which adds to your bill, plus Electricrate ended up costing me 50.00 because they told me it was time to renew or change providers. I changed providers on the date THEY gave me. I got an email from my previous provider stating that I left my contract 5 months too early and I had to pay a 50.00 penalty because of it. I do not recommend Electricrate, and seem to be trapped. There's no way to unsubscribe on their site. Do not join any rate comparison site, they are all 3rd party billers.

This is an easy way to compare your utility rates to consider whether your paying to much....and to find a deal that meets your needs!

I find having a choice for electric has benefited our cost of operating our home. However I find the rates quoted on a weekly basis are not true in a number of cases when I go to the actual website. Also I have in the past locked in a 12 month rate but am finding currently the least expensive fixed rates are only 3 months! Obviously requiring me to continually check on rates!

The experience overall was good. The one issue I had was when the the new electric rate plan would take effect? I wanted it to start as soon as my previous plan would expire so I wouldn't be charged a cancellation fee. I would hope that this would be coordinated with the new provider. Not sure if this was done?
