tried using this service for the first time last week. User error ended with us not using the tickets we bought. Their exchange/refund policy only lasts up to the show time of the movie you want to see. I inquired the next day about a refund or exchange. It was bubbled up to a higher level and they refused to do anything for me. Felt like a very poor way to earn a customer. They have lost me forever. Seems like most people reviewing them aren't too happy either. Goodbye Fandango

If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is useless and incompetent and fandango doesn’t care about its customer at all. I went to see Jumanji with my husband, had to get/pay a sitter for my kids, and the seats we got were awful. They were meant for handicapped customers which we didn’t know when we bought them because it did not specify that on fandango’s site. We immediately walked out of the movie which was starting in 7 minutes. We spoke to a manager who said that fandango would have to be the one to refund us because tickets were purchased with them. The minute I walked out of the theater I tried to call fandango but they were closed so I contacted them through chat. They said they would not refund me because the movie had already started and my ticket was scanned in. I explained that of course it was scanned in because we went in and saw the seats were awful and left. I also told the online representative that I tried speaking to the manager and they couldn’t help and said to contact fandango. So yes, with all said and done, I obviously was contacting them AFTER the movie started. Also the wait time to speak to a representative was like 20 minutes so that didn’t help. Awful business and I recommend using anything else except fandango. They do not help or care about their customers, just their policy and money.

Never, ever use Fandango. I spent almost an hour trying to get their gift card to work. It didn't. So I spent almost another hour chatting with Fandango. Their suggestion was the theater I was attempting to use might not accept Fandango. In the alternative, reboot my computer. Plus you will only be slightly infuriated that you have to enter a 19 digit card number and then a 4 digit PIN. And in my case I did that 5 times.

Just one more unhappy customer. Fandango has no customer service, just excuses, changing stories, and no one who can really help a customer. My strong advice is to go to the theater to purchase tickets and DO NOT USE Fandango.

Fandango’s convenience fee charge is a ripoff!!! On a $30 movie charge, convenience fee was $10.74. OVER 33%, Ridiculous!!! I will never buy another Fandango gift card again.

High drama regarding an acceptable refund that I requested, so simple, RIGHT? I spoke to three different reps. in one weeks time after the requested refund, not one of them documented the phone call, as I found out, and no reference number given to me in order to follow up on the status. Each rep. telling me to send them the information they needed to complete the refund to a specific e-mail. Each time I sent the requested info., I received a reply that the info. could not be processed properly. Fandango preys upon their customers, I'M TALKING ABOUT A 20.00 REFUND PEOPLE, RIDICULOUS!!!! END GAME: NEVER ORDER DIRECTLY FROM FANDANGO, ALWAYS ORDER FROM THE ACTUAL THEATER.

BEWARE! When you "search" on a specific theater.. I.e. SMG Royal Lane, Fandango has apparently paid to show up first and then directs you to a different theater than you requested, which after research, seems to be theaters that are in more need of filling seats. I bought tickets which I thought were Royal Lane - got to the theater and couldn't get tickets to print... sought help and they said you are at the wrong theater... 5 minutes before posted showtime (which is really 20 minutes of previews) and tried to find link on fandango site to refund and by the time I found it and had to find confo#, it was 2 mins past posted show time and of course "no refund"... will NEVER use Fandango again.,
