Flatbike, Inc.Full-size bikes are fun and easy to ride, but not so fun and easy to store and transport. Do you buy a bike rack for your car, driving around with the sensors covered and valuables outside your car---or is there a better way? When your bike is inside, how do you keep it conveniently accessible, yet out of the way? This is what makes Flatbike so popular. Flatbike solves these problems, whether you already have a bike you like or are in the market for one that fits your life better. Full-size folding bikes, including mountain bikes, hybrids, and gravel bikes, offer a quality riding experience. Then these bikes simply fold in half to fit conveniently in a car trunk, truck cab, RV cubbyhole, or below deck in a boat.Or, if you already have a bike that you love but it takes up too much space, a Flatten Your Bike kit can make your existing bike fold flat in seconds, fitting easily against walls in small apartments or garages.Ultimately, these improvements make your bike more compatible with transportation and where you live. Put it all together, and you end up with bikes that are more accessible, more portable, and take you more places to ride and explore. It’s portable adventure!

The selection at the store is decent, but I felt the staff could be a bit more helpful. Good bikes, just not enough variety for my taste. Overall, a fair experience.

Thanks, Craig. Yes, we've stopped building full-size folding bikes in this economy. Down to the last few left. Sorry we weren't more helpful going through slim pickings.

The website did not work properly resulting in me being mis-sold to. Instead of honouring the sale, my order was unilaterally cancelled and I was refunded. The question I asked in my email went unanswered.

Hi, Charles. We're sorry you were affected by (now-fixed) one-day rates glitch in the USPS international plug-in---incorrectly listing intercontinental shipping as free. If you check your spam, you'll likely find three emails from us over a week as we tried to resolve this. Finally, getting no responses, we canceled the order and refunded your entire purchase. If there's something else we could have done, we'd love to know what...

We are glad that the product met expectations. This order was shipped for FREE the next business day, in typical Flatbike manner. No expediting was promised to Canada, and none is even possible without a financial loss. I honestly don't know how we could have done better, Malcolm.

I ordered these removal pedals from a recommendation from a friend who had a set. I ordered them with no intentions of removing them on a regular basis. The pedals were comfortable & my riding shoes were very secure on them on fast downhill single track descends. The problem was that they came off 3 times in the week and a half I had them. The last time they came off, was on the July 4th, riding on the street, in route to view fireworks. Only got about a block and a half. We reluctantly turned around and the next day I replaced them with the stock pedals of my mountain bike. I will be returning them soon.

Sorry to hear about this, Bill. Such a short ride before the pedals falling out indicates that these pedals were never latched in the first place; if you don't hear an automatic click when you push in, then push on the red ring across from the mark to click the latch manually. And they definitely weren't locked in--sliding the black ring over the metal washer makes the latch impossible to move. Even so, let us know if you'd like a return shipping label, and we will adhere to the Flatbike 30-day refund.
