This is the chair you want!
We wanted a backup electric wheelchair for our daughter (47 with CP from birth and a long time power wheelchair user) to use when we traveled. Went to the Abilities Expo in NJ to see what was new and available that might fit our needs. Tried every make and model of lightweight, foldable power chair they had. The Forcemech Ultralight G20 Pro was far and away the best. It was quick, quiet, exceptionally agile, lightweight, and easy to fold. It comes with a built in light package including side marker lights, a LED headlight, and rear running and brake lights which seem unnecessary until you have someone walk into you from behind while waiting in a line. My wife took a spill while working in the garden and hurt her hip and thigh (she swore she broke her hip when it happened) so she used the chair for a few weeks. I can’t believe how many people stopped to talk to her about the chair while she scooted around the supermarket. One couple ran us down when we were in a casino at Atlantic City. They had a relative who was using a power scooter and after seeing the ease with which my wife navigated the casino compared to a scooter they were sold. Sharply designed carbon fiber frame, USB port to charge your phone, voice announcements when backing up or changing modes, easy to fold yet rigid when opened to use, intuitive joystick controls, this chair checks all the boxes. It can never replace my daughter”s custom seated power chair that she lives in all day, but as a backup when traveling, or for someone with mild to moderate mobility issues, this is the chair you want.
