I have shopped with Gem Shopping for several years and have come to know which vendors I particularly like. Until very recently, the upcoming network schedule would identify which vendors would be on and at what time. Why the change? I don’t know - - despite asking both sale and customer service reps. This new marketing concept seems counterproductive. I can’t watch the show 24/7 just to see what vendors are on. I’m starting to look for holiday gifts but will now be forced to look elsewhere!

I have been purchasing very expensive, high-end jewelry from this company. I spent $20,000.00 easily. 3 times, after transaction completed, I received an email saying that my item I purchased was going to be delayed. No reason given. So, I called customer service and canceled jewelry transaction, as this, to me, was unacceptable. Perhaps two people bought the same item, who knows? On both occasions, I purchased other jewelry items within 24 hours of canceling, to remain in good standing. Both items were well over $5,000. I had a good relationship w/ customer service because I was big spender. Little did I know that the relationship was a one-sided relationship. These people are business first. Not in any way, a friend. I was told by several client service phone reps that if I return too many jewelry items, I’d be cut off from being able to buy any further items from GTV. I looked on their website and could nothing in writing stating this fact. Just for the heck of it, I tried purchasing an inexpensive item using “split pay” because my plan was to see if I was blacklisted for my so called “return ratio.” If accepted, I planned on buying a $12,000.00 special request piece I’d had my eye on. Nope, they wouldn’t allow me to use split pay. Now mind you, the last purchase I had made was a week earlier for $6,000. One of 2 very expensive black Opal rings that I absolutely love. I also purchased two very expensive strands of golden south sea pearl strands. These and other purchases were well documented. Every phone call, every instant message, all purchases are documented so the client service operators have this information right on the computer in front of them. Still, I was denied with no reason given. Perhaps something in writing would have been nice w/ a kind word and detailed explanation? Who in their right mind would ever purchase expensive jewelry off of a t.v. screen, often times without detailed shots of under galleries or the back sides of items? These people are selling their jewelry at retail pricing. I know this because I’ve been buying jewelry for years. And get disposed of by said company for returning too many items. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? These people actually have the nerve to penalize a good customer for returning or canceling poorly made jewelry, or for just not liking the pieces in person? How absolutely ridiculous. Nobody is going to intimidate me into keeping an inferior piece of jewelry because they don’t want to put item back in stock. Fear tactics will not work on me. I am an educated jewelry consumer and I am disgusted with Gems.com. They just lost a great customer because of there blatant dishonesty. Be very careful and ask a lot of questions about their policies before buying or you too might be blocked from buying.

I purchased 2 blue topaz rings this morning and to my surprise I found the exact trillion cut ring on ebay, brand new for $110 cheaper.. I should of done my research first!

I have been enjoying collecting many special pieces for about 3 years now. I’ll be honest, I am also a customer of ShopLC regularly & JTV too! I stumbled upon Gem Shopping one day after purchasing something from ShopLC & after viewing them for a few minutes ( I thought, It was a shopping channel only for the people who have a lot of money.) Well, I was definitely wrong because they were showing many different lovely pieces & of course each piece is different in cost. They Were VERY Kind over the telephone & as I purchased my very first piece ( a ring designed by Ben ), I became a new customer! 💞 Here I am now, I do love to see what they are showing regularly & I probably purchase a piece every month, HAA,HAA! I have to be careful, these pretty sparkling ✨ jewels can be addictive, right?! I like that they now offer “Spilt payments” for us regular customers who want something BEAUTIFUL but need the help of a budget pay. THANK YOU ❤️ That’s why I also love ShopLC too. They always offer that & coupons too. But I certainly don’t want to upset Gem Shopping by bringing up other Companies. But knowing they’re all together bringing Gorgeous Gems to ALL, they should actually get along in my opinion. Thank YOU Gem Shopping for bringing SO Many Beautiful Gems TO US!!!

Just got my diamond and ruby ring, Stellar Creations by Sunny. Absolutely love it! Invisibly set rubies and flawless diamonds. They did a nice job with packaging. Came in a cute ring box with a little light in it to showcase the ring. Kudos to your packaging department! My only complaint is that even though it was post office express, it took 6 days to get here and was stuck in Georgia post office for 5 days with no movement

Called and got a price for an item. I said I will buy it. Suddenly I got another person on the line that gave me a price 6 times more! When they have "Call in Off-air Price" without giving u any suggested price is a scam! The person on the phone can change it to whatever they want!

For the most part, pretty good but they will cancel your order without telling you. And even though you can contact them 24 hours to purchase something, their customer service is limited to Eastern standard time from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday, which is ridiculous when they are selling merchandise that can exceed over $100,000

Just wanted to let Gem shopping know that I do have my favorites on vendors, but I do watch you a lot. Yes I do return some jewelry but I’m so pleased with the items that I have over the years shopping with you. Kingsley team is great! and Stellar Creations and Mike with his specials and Native American jewelry. I love David and his pearls! Benko and his gems!
