From start to finish, with the planning process to the actual trip, we had a flawless experience. We were given excellent options and ideas for planning our trip. We had an 11 day tour starting in Kigali, Rwanda. We then visited Akagera National Park, Nyungwe National Park and Volcanoes National Park. We highly recommend this tour company. Our tour guide, Edmond, who was with us for the entire trip, was wonderful.

Our gorilla safari in Uganda was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we landed and were met by Ben at Entebbe airport, every detail had been taken care of and the Travel Key app they use meant that we could easily check any aspect of our itinerary at any time on our phones. Ben, our guide/driver, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, professional yet warm and friendly. We are glad we drove to Bwindi one way (and flew the other) to experience the Ugandan countryside and villages, go through the Equator and drive ourselves out of a very muddy multi-vehicle traffic jam! Ben was a hero, keeping us safe and comfortable at all times as well as helping others. We also had a couple of game drives on the way, which was an unexpected surprise, so saw many more animals than just the gorillas. The gorilla trekking itself in Bwindi Natl Park was absolutely incredible - seeing these magnificent creatures up close in their natural habitat is something we'll never forget. Beautiful lodges, delicious meals, and opportunities to explore more of Uganda’s vibrant culture with optional activities rounded out an extraordinary 4 days. In planning the trip, though Amanda from Gorilla Safari Company was in the UK and we in New Zealand on the other side of the world, she was always available for questions and made sure every detail was covered, including special little touches for our wedding anniversary. Thank you, Amanda. Thoroughly recommend Gorilla Safari Company to anyone looking for an extraordinary safari adventure in Uganda or Rwanda.

Gorilla Safari Company for the win! The company and their partners on the ground including Nkuringo Safaris were excellent. Our guides Patrick in Rwanda & Uganda and Mathayo and August who led us up Kilimanjaro were top notch and always there for us, making us feel comfortable, safe, and showing us fun along the way. The operation ran smoothly and I couldn't be happier with our choice to go with Gorilla Safari Company, over the other half dozen I interviewed, and I know my partners Teague and Miguel feel the same way.

We first made enquiries about doing a gorilla safari in Rwanda and a safari in Seregetti in Tanzania back in Dec 2019. After we paid a deposit in Jan 2020, and booked all our flights for the trip in Nov 2020, the pandemic hit.....we finally did the safari 3 years later with much assistance from Amanda from the GS company and she was very helpful and professional in rearranging the whole trip albeit 3 years later! The tour guides / drivers, 4WD, accommodation chosen etc were all top notch and i would not hesitate to recommend this very professional company to book your dream African trip!
