Erica asked for the same information three times for several vehicle loans. She changed the price for one of the auto loans so I declined it due to dishonesty.

Where to begin with their loan department, what a waste of time… I was told that I had “too low” of a credit score to refinance my auto loan. (I’m not sure who’s credit score they were checking, because mine came in at 688 after the slight ding from having it checked by GBCU, when I applied for, and got, a credit card two weeks afterwards….) I also sent in my paystub‘s, but then was told I needed a letter from my boss stating how much I make. Which is very odd, because the paystub‘s clearly state how much I make, which is more than enough to successfully pay $190 payment that I was quoted for. (I am currently able to pay a $400 payment monthly.) I was also told I had to provide proof of a lease, despite the fact that I live with family to help with my aging FIL. Therefore, making it impossible for me to have a lease because I’m not renting. So my family and I drafted up a lease that said I live here but I don’t pay rent. Which they rejected, and then again asked for the “real lease.” Honey, no, I don’t have a lease. How hard is that to comprehend? All in all it was a circus, I wasn’t even asked to provide ANY of this when I took out my original loan with Chase….It left me with the impression that somebody in the loan department was either feeling too lazy to do their job or that someone was able to mess with my ability to refinance because they have some sort of personal problems with me or someone I associate with. I ended up refinancing with Chase. Somehow, they still didn’t need any of the above information.
