Cheaters,asking for $99 to return my files

Take a hard look of their reviews, and do not trust. My experience: I hired Jim Williams of GWM to build my website for vacation rentals, their speciality. What was developed for me was pretty but didn't work, and had no back-end. It was also built on code that was past the end of life, another words, it couldn't be supported, maintained or updated. It also was hackable, which happened within 2 months of going live. Naive me, I also paid $1600 for them to do SEO, which was never done because it couldn't, due to the old code, and junkie approach. Everything had to be hardcoded for any changes. After much frustration, with Jim not addressing errors and disappearing, I was able to talk to Harry Jones, the lead for this company. During this time, I was also featured by them as a website that they developed and I was contacted by 5 different frustrated customers. At one point, Harry offered to fix everything, admitting issues. Later, he admitted that I needed a rewrite, and that they weren't going to do it. I asked about the $1600 for SEO, no response. Result: After spending app. $3000 I completely abandoned this website, and used this experience to find other developers to completely rebuild. Lessons Learned: Check references personally, contact owners. Check those websites and verify that they still function after a year or so, or have been abandoned. There are good designer/developers out there, much more current and not expensive. Require the use of Wordpress, not .php that makes you dependent. Own your own domain and separate hosting accounts. Get onto FB groups related to your industry and learn before you start this. You do not have to be techie to do all of this. Finally, If you are in the vacation rental property sector, I am happy to help share my learnings so that I feel my $3k debacle wasn't a total waste. Do NOT waste your money on GWM.

BUYER BEWARE! This group is a sham. They say they understand what you are trying to achieve, disappear and never complete the work. We have paid for a website that has NEVER worked, and the way it was set up, has damaged our reputation due to not having the right communication links to customers. RUN, don't walk away. Find someone else who will get the work done for you properly.

horrible service... no creativity from design team...??? been trying to get my website completed for almost a year... harry is impossible... it takes a week to a month just to get a font changed... no help... it will take 5 years to complete my site?? i've given up...
