We are trying to start the retirement payment for my mother but after 6 months of dealing with Hancock Whitney's roadblocks nothing has happed. We've followed all their procedures, and they still haven't paid any of her retirement funds. I would never use or advise my clients, friends or family to use Hancock Whitny Bank for any services. Their staff have provided a lot of miss information which slows down their process.

Well i was told I dont qualify for $600 bonus because I received a bonus back in 2021. The requirements listed on your page says one bonus per household every 2 years. Everyone stay anyway from this bank. They dont honor their bonuses.

I'm so impressed with this bank and Connor who helped me tremendously. I'm transferring from my Riverview bank that I have been with for almost 20 years. I did a mobile deposit for $6k which they accepted, then contacted me and said it was over their $5k limit..I asked what can I do with it now since I wrote payable to you and your acct #. They said bring it in and we'll see..I told them I live an hour away. They couldn't care less. I had already started setting up new accts w Connor. I called him asked if Hancock Whitney could make an exception and accept it. He asked, came back and said yes. They didn't know me from Adam, and helped me where as the bank / credit union I had in a Riverview for 20 years did nothing for me. I'll be w Hancock Whitney for the next 20 years, hopefully more

There was an internet glitch that duplicated a transfer out of my account and accidentally overdrafted the account. When I discovered the issue, I called the customer service line and asked them to waive the overdraft fee since this is the first time anything like this has happened, explaining that they should be able to tell that I wouldn't have intended to do a transfer for the same amount of money within minutes of each other. The customer service agent indicated they wouldn't waive the fee and then a supervisor also wouldn't waive the fee despite my explanation. Do NOT use this bank - customer service is apparently low on their priority list and I WILL be closing my accounts with them as soon as possible.

Horrible customer service I was with them for less than three weeks. I took the option to have the overdraft option in my account I overdraft in Publix. I ended up paying the feedback then I overdraft again and they charged me $36. I went into the branch paid the amount that was negative and they close my account the next day saying they did not want to do business because of fraud activities and they did not want to investigate and the 34 transactions I have was for my job Bath and body Works in Publix and I went over maybe no more than $25 negative and they charged me the $36 fee. I don’t recommend this bank to nobody they did not want to try to help me at all and really bad Customer Service.

Do not use this bank. We recently moved out of state We have been trying to close our account and move our money to a different bank. The are being very difficult. The only way to close our account and get all of our money out is to either drive 3 days back to Mississippi from Arizona or pay 1400$ for a round trip plane ticket. !!! 😡😡

Incredibly slow at settling money into the account, but VERY fast to take out overdraft fees. My debit card on a business account was shut down because of a fraudulent charge. New card was ordered, and after two weeks still hasn't arrived. I can't get my money, at all, without going into a branch and getting cash. The business account app has no virtual card, so I can't connect it to digital wallets. Customer Service was useless at resolving this problem and told me I needed to open a personal account to get a digital card.

I deposited a check through the mobile app at 10:30 am Monday morning. It is still pending. Mind you this is a check from a Hancock Whitney account going into my Hancock Whitney account. While other banks move forward, Hancock is going back in time. When I called, the person on the phone told me there was nothing she could do, and also told me I shouldn’t use the mobile deposit, I should have just come in to the branch. So what is the point of a feature that is supposed to be for convenience. Their entire online presence and mobile app is barely functional and dated (mind you this is the new version they just rolled out). My employer switched to Hancock and so I did as well, but I will be pulling my account and returning to Chase. Do not bank here!!
