This sweet potato pies is trash. They taste absolutely horrible.

If HEB wants to advertise that they're here for your family then they need to stop price gouging all of their customers. I've seen no attempt to help their customers in any way. They copy our favorite products and produce their own knockoff versions before phasing our favs out. HEB is proving to be just another money grabbing corporation. It's become obvious that it's all about the bottom line now. In the last 2 years our grocery bill has tripled, while the products get smaller. People are buying less healthy foods just to get by. All I can say is that their commercials are false advertising.

On December 3, 2023, I was shopping at HEB #48. I had just come from a funeral and was emotionally drained. I bought $80 worth of groceries, inserted my Master Card and got to the breezeway. The employee ran out and yelled, " Ma'am, you're walking off with $80 worth of groceries!" I could have died of embarrassment as if I were stealing. Many people heard her. I had put the card in upside down. I understand she was doing her job, but employees need to be advised how to deal with a situation like this, giving the customer the benefit of the doubt. Self Checkout 659, 4:17 P.M.

I've got to give a shout-out to the knowledgeable, friendly, and artistic people in the Customer Service, Bakery and Floral department, and all the employees! They always serve you with a smile. I love my HEB! ♥️ Miroslava Muñoz

IM SO SICK OF HEB! From buying meat that stinks the next day when I open it, find chicken with all big wads of fat underneath the bottom of it so you can’t see it, buying fruit that was frozen and you take it home and cut it open and it’s brown! Come on!!! Just got back from the grocery store opened up my gizzards to make stuffing for Thanksgiving, checking them out, and there’s green hard skins on them, blood padding for extra weight. Says a pound and a half most of its fat skins and that pad of blood!! We need compensation here in Texas! And the white strawberries inside are my favorite! I took a photo? I’ll use it on Yelp I guess

Caucasian Travel Warning. The two years I have been down here in the winter, I have experienced overt racism from PEOPLE OF COLOR. The new racist attitude is these people are rude to you and get away with it because, the demographics and HEB has no competition. The G.M. Cheryl will do nothing. Be a ware of a manager name Natalie. She is an angry Hispanic puuta who will threaten you with criminal trespassing arrest because, if you treat the racist employees with rudeness like they treat you.

A few weeks ago I purchased a package of pork chops. When I opened them I found several chunks of loose pork fat between the chops. I contacted corporate and a week later I received a response suggesting I contact the meat manager. I did this 11.10.23. His response was the the chops came from the warehouse. He would let them know. That's it! I told him I would no longer purchase meat from HEB. I did buy a bag of potatoes from the produce department. Took them home and the next morning the kitchen smelled TERRIBLE! They looked good and firm, but there was at least one (or more) rotten one in the middle! My first job was with HEB and I have tried to remain loyal. It has become increasingly difficult because of the deteriorating quality. Now it's impossible! HEB has now lost a customer! I've heard similar stories from others.
