Summary: Poor valueDetails: In hindsight, what I should have done and now whole heartily recommend to anyone interested in this craft is for you to SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY on this fancy education package. Instead watch the free education available on YouTube from likes of optionAlpha and Tastytrade to learn all about the inner-workings of options trading, strategies, and most importantly risk management (btw nobody is paying me to write this review, just wanna share my lesson learned as a heads up) and further supplement your education with trading books which many are available on audible for busy body on the go. Then jump in, trade often but trade small like around $1 ~ $10 per option contract. Learn the macro setting and sentiment because they set the overall tone, practice learning the stocks you plan to trade such as its recent price movement (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly price actions) then focus absolutely on trading the chart action, NOT your expectations and definitely NOT your emotion. There is only one rule, the market's rule. The trader is the most vulnerable and weakest link of this whole process. By trading small it'll take a newbie very very long strings of bad trades to blow $15k. Chances are by the time $5k is lost to the market you would know if this game is for you or not, and you'll have the benefit of being orders of magnitude ahead of any new graduate of this fancy program. To wrap up, there is no shortcut to consistent successful trading, even after lots of work and lots of practice most will still fail. Don't believe me? Do your homework by Google and Youtube 'trader's journey' and 'why most traders lose money'. Good luck !

Interactive trader program is a great…
Interactive trader program is a great tool for an experienced trader or people who are familiar with trading options and stock. The training is good but if you never traded or don't know how to trade. I would not recommend this training. I invested over a couple of thousand dollars more than $5k and regretting it and they will not refund my money. I was suppose to have one on one coaching. They gave gave me 3 which was very helpful and Dennis was great then they gave me another coach Joel that I can never speak with I can do the online classes but if you need specific direction they ask you two call the response line. Boy is this a waste the trainer was very confused with my questions. Sad part I was doing what my new coach requested , he told me watch the training video and after ,call into the response line with questions and they will help. They were not helpful at all and agitated with my questions. Bottom line if you are a beginner trader trying to learn and need direction do not invest the large amount $ requested for Interactive Trader. You will not get the one on one training you need to be successful and make money. If you go to the weekend training please don't buy into the dream of learning how to option trading or how two trade in a down market to earn extra income unless you are experienced day trader or money market person. If you know you are going need coaching and if you have $$$ I recommend. I took out a personal loan and stuck with paying it back at a high interest rate. Honestly, like most people I thought I would learn how two trade options & stock . You know like those nice options trades that they showed us in the seminar and gain my money back. Low to middle class consumer don't do it. This program is definitely not what they are " pitching & selling" in the 3day seminar. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,
Hello,
I signed up to see Kevin OLeary in November 2018 to learn about investing. At that time they promoted and sold a three day course at a cost of $1297, this course would teach you the secrets of trading options. The course consisted of 20 total hours over three days. You would think you would have a fair idea of option trading by the end of the course.
The conclusion that I arrived at was that the three day course was used to convince you to upgrade to the $20,000 course. The time was used to play with your emotions, supply a minimum amount of material... just enough to confuse you, and leave you without confidence to make a trade.
I think the software could be useful if the three day course allowed you to interact using the software, thus allowing experience and instructional materials. For the price of $1297, you would be better off taking a legitimate university offered continuing ed investing course, and you would come out with a better understanding of option trading/investing.
My purpose in writing this review is to inform that it was misleading, and in my opinion there was an underlying agenda.

Sales scam
Sales scam. Want to the first event and was discouraged by the attitude over asking questions. You guys talk about RISK. Okay..let me take my own risks and offer the tool to me at a subscription cost and allow me to learn as i go. You have that big disclaimer in the beginning of your presentation that this is not a sure thing. Im fine with that. Give me the tool and let me take my own risks instead of trying to box me in with your overpriced educational workshops.

Timeshare-style sales pitch for expensive classes when they should just sell software subscription
“Let’s see a show of hands”: who actually expected to learn trades for spending $1000 and three days of your life? Who expected to open up a laptop and get walked through at least a basic vertical spread trade on the simulator?
You did? Sorry..This is only the sales pitch for the $33,000 seminar+.
The Promise of 3-day training is not delivered:
The training that you think you are going to get for three days for $1000 is actually a timeshare-style sales pitch with no breakfast.
Oh and by the way you won’t get access to the software longer than 30 days for that price. And you need to sit through the initial fear-based sales class for three days before you get software access. In the 3-day class, You will learn a few tips but it is enough just to confuse you. We tried to ask questions and we were ignored because “they have so much material to cover” designed to wear you down first.
People were not happy and did not feel it was training:
Selling on fear and hope instead of actual learning is an evil way to collect money from people-and it is so 1980s. Hearing so many people feel disrespected and angry about the training is why I decided to write this. I am also very concerned that they offered to finance people to sign up and trade stock..and yet they highly discourage talking about bitcoin and blockchain? Even bitcoin doesn’t take credit cards.
Also I am concerned about the sales people actually working for them. They seemed really nice however they could not talk about the product at all and the men all had really long sloppy un-hemmed pants which does not tell me that they are professional traders. Little things like that, big things like what I wrote, all red flags.
Lack of an upfront business model designed with customer-focused offer:
The business model is not designed in a consumer’s best interest. They should just sell subscription software with support and training videos.. and be upfront about the training seminar which should be a step in the customer journey after having a great experience.
User Interface needs work:
Another experience problem is they have such a poorly designed site so you might need some training just to use it. They do have useful and interesting information built into this site, but it is not intuitive. Why do that when you can just go to E*TRADE. They have a great options trading platform.
Are they a subscription sw company or an expensive training program?
I think they are confused as to whether not they want to invest money into their platform or become an expensive training facility. $33,000 is their first training package. OK that is fine if you are upfront about it and state your purpose.
There are other trading platforms out there that tell you what the price is online and don't play games. They also have free training videos.
Money back offer:
They give you a certificate for "your money back" if you make so many trades in so many days but there is no follow up, no email communication, no responses, and the software shuts off after 30 days. ****I did get my money back after writing this review and after writing several times to request help..they were not responsive until I pushed for a response.
Better ways to do this:
Found it easier to learn from Barchart, youtube, podcasts, investopedia, and etrade. Fidelity’s platfom is good too. I like how easy it is to place a trade on etrade. They help you with strategy and learning while you place the trade —-not After.
Using celebrities to reel you in for an offer that is not transparent:
The headline speaker they use to get you there, Kevin O'Leary, should have sat through a 3-day class and heard how many people were upset that they were sold into this “training”. If he wants you to learn how to trade options, that’s great, so maybe he should develop an online classroom platform.

a $1000 worth of education.
Just went through the first two days of the Toronto Sales pitch. What a waste of time. Unless you can already actively trade options today, you're not going to be able to take advantage of what they show you. Its also certainly not a $1000 worth of education. its not even 3 days of teaching. More like 5-6 hours. there rest selling ridiculous training courses add fear mongering and silly breakout seasons.
You can't ask any questions unless you're in a breakout season, however they just deflect and make you believe the questions will be answered at the end. They also don't allow you to have a notebook or tablet. I wonder why???

Charles,
I wish I had more information so I could look up your account. I will reach out to you personally and resolve this. We have made a commitment to help each customer find success. We never give up in that effort to help. It is like going to church. One person can walk away and feel they just had the best experience possible and the person next to them walks away claiming they got nothing. We are sorry for your experience and want to make it right.
Everyone is at a different level of understanding and that is the reason we ask you to hold questions. I am sure you have been in a class or presentation where one person dominated the discussion with questions everyone else understood. Questions will be answered in the breakouts so everyone else's experience can be enjoyable..

My Recent Experience
I was truly excited to attend this workshop . There was some good information given but the focus on doom and gloom of the stock market and real estate market was disappointing . Yes I do deal in reality but it was overkill and a way to scare people into signing up for their additional training that runs between 19-34k. After the class was over , the participants who didn’t sign up for additional training were asked to leave and pick up their virtual trading packets in the hallway while they focused on their elite clients . Totally classless . I would never treat a potential client like that but they did. I cannot recommend this training because of the selling tactics they use throughout the class and the way they treat participants . We’re they friendly? So so .

Adrian,
Thank you for your comments. I will forward your experience on to the Executive Team for review. We do not condone anything that you stated and will look into it further. There is so much good to be had at the workshop and this should never have happened.
