Provider was very thorough and considerate. Technology was easy to use. I wish I had known about the follow up testing process before booking the appointment. I live in a rural area and will have to travel 150 miles each way to have one test done. I would’ve liked to know it’s not as easy as it looks on social media ads.

Menopause misery managed!
I have struggled with menopause misery for years, and every provider I saw said I was on plenty of estrogen for my hot flashes, except I continued to have them day and night. The other thing they offered was antidepressants. I have never been depressed in my life, and I refused them. Which led to, well, you just don't realize you are depressed. That pushed me to start searching for answers elsewhere. One day, while researching, I ran across Midi Health, and I figured I had nothing to lose except the cost of a visit. I signed up for a visit, and Gretchen got to the bottom of my symptoms right away and offered several options, including labs that no other provider had, and upping my estrogen. My testosterone level was in the tank, and she recommended a testosterone cream. The only caveat with that was that she cannot prescribe it in my state because it is a controlled substance. Thankfully, I work for an excellent provider who was happy to write the testosterone script for me. I am back to feeling more like myself than I have in 15+ years.

DO NOT trust your care to Midi Health.
I had one of the most frustrating, dismissive, and irresponsible healthcare experiences of my life with this practice.
I sought support for perimenopause and HRT, but instead of receiving evidence-based care, I was met with clinical incompetence, gaslighting, and a total lack of accountability. My provider, Danielle Aaron, falsely told me the continuous-combined HRT she prescribed would not affect my cycle. That’s objectively untrue — clinical literature confirms this regimen suppresses menstruation. When I questioned it, citing a doctor and research, she doubled down and blamed it on “natural menopause progression.” She also failed to acknowledge my request to safely adjust or stop the regimen, despite the fact that I never consented to stopping my menstrual cycles.
From the start, I requested hormone labs to establish a baseline, which is standard practice before beginning HRT. Danielle dismissed this entirely, saying Midi “treats symptoms only.” This stripped me of informed consent and turned my care into guesswork.
Then came a mess with my mammogram: Danielle offered to place the order but had no idea how to handle the callback or write the required follow-up script. After a mass was found, I was left scrambling to figure it out myself. It was alarming to see such a basic failure in women’s health support.
When I respectfully asked for a new provider, my messages were routed back to Danielle — who ignored my core questions, sent dismissive replies, and failed to take any responsibility, even suggesting that I pay for additional visits to have my questions answered and her misinformation clarified. Eventually, “Patient Experience” offered a complimentary appointment to address only one of my concerns (low testosterone), with two clinician options at limited times. I replied within 25 minutes, after researching the providers and selecting a time — only to be told it was no longer available and that the clinician “didn’t accept New York patients” (after they had just offered her to me). They then tried to push me into an inconvenient time slot with a provider I didn’t choose. It was disorganized, dismissive, and clearly not in my best interest.
I gave Midi Health until the end of the day to respond to the questions and concerns stemming from their provider’s mismanagement of my care — along with how to safely come off HRT or transition to cyclical, questions I had asked Danielle repeatedly, which she purposefully ignored. I made it clear that failure to respond would result in legal recourse. Despite this, Midi chose to ignore my request entirely. As a result, I have begun working with my legal team to address the significant emotional distress, misinformation, and potential malpractice I’ve experienced under their care.
In short, I was left with no guidance on how to safely discontinue or adjust my regimen, despite not being properly informed about the effects of a continuous plan. My requests for clinical clarity and a new provider were ignored or rerouted to the same practitioner, who continued to gaslight me. Midi’s model seems more focused on revenue than responsible care — assigning complex women’s health issues to underqualified practitioners and and management with no accountability.

I feel better than I’ve felt in a long…
I feel better than I’ve felt in a long time. I had not had a good night sleep in years. Hot sweats were driving me crazy and left me drenched at unpredictable times. I finally sleep like a baby and the hot sweats are gone. I wish I found Midi Health sooner. The providers are knowledgeable and nice. The virtual visits are easy. My medicine is sent directly to my pharmacy and covered by my insurance. Thank you so much Midi Health.

Midi Health has been transformative for me
Midi Health has been transformative for me. I followed them and keep researching for months before I took the plunge to invest in myself. While I would like to be able to have the file with insurance options, I will continue to self pay until that's available. My provider is amazing, knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions in detail. I joined late June 2025 and to this date Oct 2025- I've lost 30 lbs and enjoy clearer thinking, zero joint pain, better energy and overall wellbeing - much improved from the last few years of turning 50 and feeling like I was falling apart inside and out. While I've loved and appreciated my ObGyn over the last two decades, I feel like I'm finally getting menopause care I've lacked but needed with Midi. Thank you Midi Health! ~Kimberly K.
