Midi provides such a great service to women. I wanted HRT, but I suspected my OB-GYN would be afraid of it. Midi’s website is so informative that I could tell they were supportive of helping women through menopause and provided an easy answer to the confusing lottery of choosing a menopause-savvy local doctor off the Internet. Midi accepted my insurance and made appointment-scheduling easy. My one caveat would be: don’t put off scheduling an appointment. Next-day service is not always available, and by the time I was finished following their blog instructions on how to prepare for a visit, I was really raring to go. So, I got an appointment a week out, but then I checked back a couple of days later and found that a sooner one had opened up. I was able to reschedule for the closer appointment and get my journey started that much sooner. Now, just a few days after my visit, I’m excited for the balance of my prescriptions to be ready at my local pharmacy.

I can't believe I waited or hesitated so long to call. I was so used to not being heard or believed that I figured this would be same issue and of course the insurance being accepted with it. The process was a breeze Rebecca listened to me and made me feel heard and understood. I can't say enough positive things about getting set up. I literally had my prescription the every same day 💯 covered by insurance and started them same night. Currently on my second patch. Still trying to see how it's working or not at the moment. It was explained to me to start at the lowest strength then move up and that's exactly what I am doing. Thank you Midi health.

During my visit I felt heard and validated. This is rare for a visit focused on women’s health. Very grateful!

My provider asked questions and verified all my information, she was well informed and gave practical advice as well as medical advice. I felt like she was listening to me and I feel great about the results of our first meeting. I’m looking forward to a follow up in a month and confident that I can message her with any questions in the meantime.

This platform is an excellent resource for women. My provider was knowledgeable, kind, and responsive to my input. When there was a question from the pharmacy about a medication, the PA from Midi made sure the provider knew right away. This platform was recommended by my specialty medical provider, and I'm really happy I reached out to Midi

I have spent years telling my providers that I don’t feel like myself, and when I asked for hormone testing, I was told everything “looks great.” I’ve asked if I could be in perimenopause, and every one of them confidently assured me that I’m too young, and referred me to a psychiatrist for anxiety and depression. A year ago, I had a physical, and my hormone levels were technically “in normal range” for someone who was born with ovaries. As my symptoms grew worse over the last year, I began to worry that something was seriously wrong with me, like early onset Alzheimer’s. I finally made my Midi appointment after a few weeks of feeling like I could get a day or two of feeling productive out of myself, but then I needed 4-5 days of rest to recover. I was napping twice a day, crying over things I normally could handle easily, and changing clothes a few times a week from all the sweating of hot flashes. Turns out, those “normal” hormone levels from a year ago were signaling perimenopause, and possibly even early pre-menopause. My Midi provider immediately recognized that my “normal” follicle stimulating hormone level was actually pretty high, and when I talked about how “off” I felt, she just…believed me. I had to hold back tears during my appointment because I realized that I’ve been suffering needlessly for years, and the only barrier to feeling better was someone else’s perception of whether or not I knew my own body. All I’ve ever known was skeptical, inexperienced providers who lacked education in perimenopause. Quick to remind me not to Google, and suggest that perhaps to manage my fluctuating moods, I’d benefit more from a mood stabilizer or anti-psychotic medication. Midi believed me. They treated me with respect. And they educated me without talking down to me. I cannot thank them enough for giving me access to hope again. I’m on day 2 of hormone replacement therapy, and I already feel emotionally lighter. I will tell every woman I know to use Midi, because we deserve to feel heard, and we deserve to be trusted with our own bodies. Thank you, Midi!
