Great concept- poor execution. We need menopausal healthcare. But- she forgot we met already. I went to a lab 3 times but she never properly coded so I never got them. She prescribed estrogen with 5 refills but progesterone with only 1 refill. MUST take both. Super slow response to refill request- then claimed it was for 5. That’s not what Walgreens says - so clearly they never really verified with Walgreens. I have wasted a lot of time. I’m done.

I was initially scared that I was just…
I was initially scared that I was just going to be ignored again or provided false hope. The consultation was quick and easy and the medication was sent right away. That evening, I slept so much better. I cried the following day because some of the concerns were fixed after one conversation. I got my labs the same day as the consultation because i meant business. My previous medical team was quick to right a script to treat the symptoms, but Midi provided me with real options for long term support and relief.

I'm shaken by the way I was treated
I just had my first appointment with Midi, and I'm shaken by how badly I was treated. The clinician was very dehumanizing and rude. She began by asking me the same questions in the health history questionnaire that I had previously spent a long time filling out accurately. I was confused and asked her if she had my questionnaire, and she said, "Y'all write down things that don't match what you say." I felt like I was being lumped into some negative idea she has about patients.
She asked me another health question, which I answered, and I tried to give a little bit more info because it was about a condition I have that can make some types of hormone therapy dangerous. She just raised her voice and talked right over me with the next question.
There was no basic courtesy, she seemed antagonistic, she didn't want to hear vital information about my health, and the supportiveness I had expected from Midi's advertising was totally absent. At that point I told her that I could not keep going with her and ended the call.
I tried to contact customer service but after calling three times (with a different menu each time) I was only able to leave a voicemail.
I went to the Midi website to leave a review and that's when I discovered that there is no way to do that. So, the reviews they show you are testimonials they've curated because they're positive. You can't get a real picture of patient satisfaction from the website.
I left the appointment feeling horrible and also SO disappointed, because I'd been looking forward to getting relief from my symptoms. That, and the fact that there was no way to speak to a live customer service rep, tells me that Midi is very hands-off about patient care, and I will not be going back.
UPDATE:
I received an email (not a call) back from Midi customer service. They said they wouldn't bill for the appt, and offered to give me an appt with someone else. I'm still not comfortable trying again.
There is no way to request a particular clinician based on reviews here, so it's a crap shoot whether you get someone who mistreats you. I recommend reading several of the one star reviews here. It's eye opening.

Easy
I was hesitant to try Midi but glad I did. The whole process has been easy and my provider, Stephanie Mc Cann was very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable to the field. She was able to answer any and all of my questions. I really liked the fact that a visit summary was sent directly afterwards showing what you and your provider discussed. I have been in situations where it was sent later if at all and with errors in it. The one sent from this visit was spot on. I recommend anyone to give MIDI a try. It’s also very convenient for people like me who have very hectic schedules.

Very positive experience
Today was my first appointment with Elisa, and it was such a positive experience. She listened to my concerns and thoughtfully explained all of the options, including the pros and cons of each. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this genuinely cared for by a provider. I’m so grateful and thankful for her support!

Midi is the solution for perimenopause…
Midi is the solution for perimenopause problems. They are incredibly easy to work with, they listen, and they get you what you need the same day! You don’t have to suffer and accept all the miserable symptoms as your new normal. Midi will get you right.

Caring provider
Loved that my telehealth experience enables me to see my provider and not just texting through an app. My provider listened and was patient.

Had my first appointment
Had my first appointment. Bad connection. The nurse practitioner Ariel Powell didn’t seem confident and knowledgeable once I explained my post medical history. I reached out to address my HRT options, my weight gain and low lido. I was informed that they can only address 1 thing at a time. She put an order for me to get my prescription at CVS. CVS doesn’t carry it or have it so I asked Walgreens to check if they carried it and they had it available. They have had it on hold (Day2- going on 3 tomorrow) and The Prescriber Ariel has yet to confirm. I’ve emailed her at her with email, and on Athena portal and called and you can’t speak to anyone. There’s no way to communicate with anyone. It’s beyond frustrating. I’m not impressed. There’s no sense of Urgency. And the lack of Knowledge.
