The Layla team is responsive to inquiries. My only complaint is that in order to get a refund one is required to donate the product to a charity, which could prove challenging as some charities don't accept pillows for hygiene reasons/laws. While admirable, it seems like a burden given the timeline they require by which to get this done. The pillow I ordered ended up being too firm for me despite removing filling 3 times. Just didn't work for me. Otherwise the pillow was well made.

Warning on Layla Sleep mattresses...
**UPDATE:** Layla’s response below appears to be a standard public-relations reply rather than an actual attempt to resolve the issue. Obviously, we already contacted Layla and attempted to reach a resolution before posting this review.
Cody in Customer Relations advised that the only options available were the mattress topper or $400 credit described in my original review. We were not offered an in-person inspection or a replacement mattress.
If Layla is now willing to send a representative to inspect the mattress in person and/or offer a replacement, they have our contact information and are welcome to reach out to us directly. If they do make a genuine effort to resolve this issue, I will gladly update this review accordingly.
I purchased a queen-size mattress in October 2022, along with a bed frame and mattress protector from Layla Sleep, for a total of more than $1,150.
Less than four years later, the mattress has developed two large bulges, making it unusable. The mattress was moved only once, from a condo to our current home. It has never been abused, folded, or subjected to anything that would reasonably cause this type of damage. There are no cuts, tears, or signs of damage to the exterior cover where the internal foam has bulged.
My 29-year-old daughter, who sleeps on this mattress, has been complaining of worsening back pain over the past several months, and we now have no choice but to replace the mattress.
We submitted a warranty claim through Layla Sleep, but were told the damage did not meet the warranty requirements. I find that extremely disappointing. If a company selling products at this price point refuses to stand behind its mattress because of fine print in the warranty, and won't even send someone to inspect the mattress in person instead of relying solely on photographs, that says a lot about how it treats its customers after the sale.
Layla offered either a mattress topper or a $400 store credit. But why would I want to purchase another $1,000+ mattress from a company that wouldn't stand behind the one I already bought?
I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before purchasing from this company. I certainly won't be buying from Layla Sleep again.

We're very sorry to hear about your frustrations. Our team reviews all warranty claims thoroughly and fairly, and we understand a denial can be frustrating regardless of the reasoning. We are more than happy to find a fair resolution, so please feel free to reach back out to us at [email protected] and hopefully we can work together to find a resolution.

We are a Layla family!
Too long; didn’t read:
My entire family — husband, daughter, and myself — sleep on Layla mattresses and use Layla pillows. We love Layla and the pain-free sleep their products provide. 10/10, highly recommend this company. Great products & quick and kind responses from CS.
Details below:
In 2022, we purchased the twin flippable memory foam mattress for our teen daughter. Layla’s mattress was the clear winner out of all the mattresses she tried. It gave her the soft-without-quicksand feel she was looking for.
I slept on her mattress for a week during a recovery from surgery. It was then that I noticed that the pain that I woke up with every morning was due to our aging mattress!
We decided to try Layla’s mattress topper first; while it helped, it was like a band-aid on a broken arm. The mattress needed to be replaced.
Less than a month after we ordered the topper, we purchased the flippable mattress. I actually kept the topper AND the mattress, which transformed the “medium-soft” side to“soft” and completely relieved my pain for the first time in years!
I should note my family likes the Layla pillows, too. We love their adjustability — I pull out stuffing to make my pillow softer and flatter, my husband adds stuffing to make his more firm.
Pillows, topper, and two beds…We are now 100% a Layla family! Layla has excellent products and great customer service. I have reached out to them with questions and they respond quickly and kindly. Highly recommend.

I bought a duvet from this website
I bought a duvet from this website, and it has a lot of loose threads. After just one night of use, the filling leaked out and ended up all over my bed. The quality is definitely not worth the price — you could probably pay a third of the cost and get something better on Amazon. Avoid it.

DO NOT SHOP HERE
⚠️ DO NOT SHOP HERE
I ordered a comforter because the product page clearly advertised “Free Returns”. After it arrived (poor quality, leaking filling), I tried to send it back. The seller rejected it, pointing to a “flash sale” rule that makes it non-returnable.
Problem is, that rule isn’t on the product page. The page still states “free returns”. You have to click through to another section, scroll down, and find it in tiny, barely visible text. And since nearly every item on the site is marked as “on sale”, there’s no clear way to tell upfront what’s actually returnable.
I’m now stuck filing a dispute just to get a refund. It’s not worth the hassle. There are plenty of trustworthy sites out there—skip this one.
Response from Layla Sleep· Nov 3, 2025
We sincerely apologize for the disappointment this has caused.
All Flash Deal items are final sale and not eligible for returns. This policy is stated on our product pages, returns page, our FAQs and our Terms & Conditions.

DO NOT EVERY BUY LAYLA MATTRESS
I purchased this mattress after doing my thorough research. It was rated highly online and had good youtube reviews as well. After a year into my purchase, i started to notice that one side of the mattress started to deflate/ memory foam sagging. I rotated the mattress every 6 months and did not pay much attention but after 3 years., i started to notice that the sagging kept getting worse and worse including the middle of the mattress started showing signs of cracking. I now started to wake up with back pain. I contacted the warranty department and informed them of my findings. The lady who i would speak to on the chat, stated to send me a picture but with measurements. I went ahead and measured the mattress sag which was above 1.5 inches. A different person now responded stating that they are sorry about the miscommunication but we need more pictures and the pictures that i sent did not qualify. Their warranty individual did notice that the mattress did look deformed and the sag is very apparent but they refused to help. The warranty claim teams kept findings reasons to reject the pictures that i sent them and it almost seemed like their job was not customer satisfaction or support the quality of their product but to ensure that no claims ever get processed and the company never has to replace/ repair anyone's mattress. I had such a horrible experience communicating with them regarding my mattress and i really do not want anyone else to have similar experience. Buy any other mattress but layla.
I am a physician and I wake up daily now with painful neck and back as I sink in this mattress nightly. That was never an issue with any other mattress I have had in the past.

Company ROBS you of 3 inches off your mattress, hopes you don't notice
Sure, customer service is real nice. But the product is JUNK JUNK JUNK. The firm side has you sinking halfway through it. The company robs you of 3" by sending out KING size mattresses that are only 76x 77. Helix did the same thing except their King size was 80 x 73! This problem seems industry-wide - it's time for a class action for the all the wasted time and energy. These thieving companies rely on consumers being too tired and overworked to measure their mattresses and/or return them. Screw em! CLASS. ACTION. NOW. Who's with me? Come on... where are all the good lawyers at, let's get this going and teach these lyin' companies a lesson...
UPDATE: Customer service actually stated via phone that it was "offensive" that my review says the company is "robbing" consumers. You know what's offensive? Utter lack of Quality Control. That's what's really offensive and far more important than the "feelings" of a customer service rep for Layla. You see, if there was any sort of QC process, then mattresses that are 3 INCHES (!) shy of correct size would not be shipped, alleviating this issue before it can be occur. Being proactive is the answer, not reactive. As stated previously, this incorrect sizing issues seems to be industry-wide. It's a fairly common scam by mass production companies to save $ and lower costs. So I don't believe this was a mistake or "human error" - no, it was intentional.
